Trip Description:

This trip primarily focuses on the opportunity for students first hand to experience the wonders of the ancient Greek world. Students will be responsible for finding a community service project for the first two weeks. Additionally, each student will be researching a site before leaving for Greece and will be expected to give a tour of the site to the group. Though this trip is primarily an academic trip, students will have the opportunity to experience Modern Greek culture, their way of life, and of course to swim in the beautiful waters of the Aegean Sea! You will be staying in the cities and towns of Athens, Nauplio, Pylos, Olympia, and Delphi and visiting an array of sites and museums.

Tentative Dates: May 21-June 1Approx. Cost=$3400

Deposit of $500 (due Dec. 12th), and payments in the amount of $1400 and $1500 will be made between January and March.

Financial Aid

Some financial aid is available from the school. If your family will need some help to make this possible for your child, s/he should write an emailed letter to Mr. Koskores (due: Thursday, November 20) including the reason(s) why s/he would benefit from this experience and what it would mean to her/him.
