  • Position: Civil Inspector (December 2017-present):
  • Project: Construction of Residential Development B+G+6 at Al Barsha, Dubai.
  • The project consists of the construction of a residential and commercial building providing a total number of 162 units, including interior fit-out, basement car parking, swimming pool and all external works and landscaping, thebuilt-up area is 30,811sqm.
  • Client: Al Ghurair Properties.
  • Contractor: Arab Contractors Dubai.
  • Project Value: 86 million AED

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect and record the works carried out by contractor on site and resolve the site generated quarries by coordinating with Resident Engineer.
  • Ensure performance of the work in strict accordance with the drawings and specification.
  • Supervision and Inspection of 'additional works’ and 'out of scope works carried out by contractor.
  • Maintain records of completed works for interim and final payment and as-built plans.
  • Check all formworks, reinforcement etc. before concrete pouring (If Any)
  • Adhere to safe working methods and report to RE for any accidents on site.
  • Maintain a detailed diary of the day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used etc., and sign at the end of each day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Structural, finishing, water proofing and external works.
  • Control the site engineers and the general formans to the proper work.
