The ASSOCHAM “9th RESPONSIBLE ORGANIZATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2016-17” calls for recognition of companies across the following Six Main Categories.

The nomination form in hard copies as well as in soft copies (DVD & Pen drive) along with the details of the NEFT / Cheque in favor of ASSOCHAM should be furnished latest by 10th February, 2017.
II. Eligibility Criteria
· The awards process is open to all Indian registered companies but not to branch offices of foreign entities.
· Data should be furnished for a single entity and not combined with group information.
· The application must be submitted by a company and not the company's CSR foundation.
· The information given in the questionnaire should indicate details / data / information relevant to the Financial Year 2015-16.
III. The Basis of Developing the Evaluation based Questionnaire, Assessment & Selection Process
ð Principles based on which the Questionnaires have been prepared
The parameters for evaluation are based on present regulatory and market based imperatives, culled out from the Companies Act 2013 and in alignment with the following:
· SEBI’s mandate on Business Responsibility Reporting mandate/the National Voluntary Guidelines (NVGs) on Social, Environmental and Economic Responsibilities of Business, 2011
· The 10 Universal Principles of UNGC
· The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) based G4 Guidelines
The parameters for evaluation are spread across the following sections:
· Economic Performance
· Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) based performance
· Governance based Performance
· Environmental based Performance
· Energy based Performance
· Social/HR related Performance
· Product Stewardship and Awareness Creation based Performance
· Suppliers based Performance
· Health and Safety based Performance
ð The Selection Process
The “ASSOCHAM 9th RESPONSIBLE ORGANIZATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2016-17” mechanism comprises of the following selection process:
· First stage - Questionnaire assessment, inclusive of compliance assessment, wherever applicable, based on details furnished by a participating company, as indicated in “Annexure 3 – Evaluation Questionnaire”.
· Second stage - Field visits for the selected project sites of the best performing companies, inclusive of review of compliance wherever felt necessary, by the professionals of GIV Central, from the Not for Profit/CSR practice.
· Third Stage – Finalization of the nominated companies, for assessment by the Independent Eminent Jury, constituted by ASSOCHAM.
· Fourth Stage – Selection of the best company for final recognition from the nominated companies by the Independent Eminent Jury.
