Describe your research plan and research methodology with a maximum of 15 pages.
7d. PROPOSED INNOVATION
Describe what is new, what is different, what is better, and what is significant about your proposed research. Explain how the project compares with the state of the art research in your field, in Ontario, Canada and the world. Maximum length – 1 page.
7e. PROPOSAL INTEGRATION
For proposals that include multiple sub-projects and/or multiple research topics, describe how you plan on integrating the projects/topics. Maximum length – 1 page.
8. RESEARCH COLLABORATION
If applicable, describe the nature and level of inter-institutional and/or international research collaboration in your project. Identify the roles of community partners participating in this research.
9. PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR AND CO-INVESTIGATOR(S)

Strategic Value for Ontario

11. STRATEGIC VALUE, SOCIAL BENEFITS AND COMMERCIALIZATION

Describe the strategic value of the research to Ontario and explain how it will enhance the province’s profile in the global research community. Articulate how the research might improve the commercial, social, cultural, educational, or legal soft infrastructure in Ontario.

Explain how the research will have the potential to influence social innovation and the quality of life in this province. Describe the effect it will have on one or more areas such as the arts, culture, commerce, communications, education, the environment, community health, public policy and governance.

The research may ultimately be of economic benefit to Ontario. If possible, address the commercial potential of the anticipated research results. Explain how the research will be relevant to one or more industries in Ontario, and how the private sector partner(s) expect to apply the results of the research commercially.
