New Parent Meeting presented by Mr. Frank Moore, Principal:
All new parents must attend one night.

PSAT given to 9th grade students: Results and test booklet will be distributed in December 2014.

Naviance training in classroom guidance for 9th graders:
Naviance is our college search tool with a career component.

Mandatory 9th grade Parent Meeting presented by the Guidance Department:
Topics will include: 4 year plan of study, course registration, testing timelines, and Naviance introduction for parents.

11th grade College Kick-Off Meeting presented by the Guidance Department:
This meeting is mandatory for all juniors and parents. Pick one night to attend.
Topics will include: Naviance introduction for parents, BT college planner, overview of counselor college meeting, college search process, college scholarships, and testing timelines.
D.
January 15, 2016
Final deadline for student and parent college paperwork due to Guidance. Please help us by completing your paperwork by the due date as we need this information to compete your college meeting.
12th Grade Important Dates & Information

Senior Parent Night presented by the Guidance Department:
Topics will include: College application deadlines, FAFSA information, GA College 411, and college scholarships.
B.
September 15, 2015
Early Action application deadline for UGA, GA Tech, the University of South Carolina, Auburn University, Purdue University and Florida State University college applications.
C.
October 1, 2015
All Early Action/Early Decision college application deadline, Regular Decision deadline for the University of Florida, and all other applications with a November 1 or November 15 due date.
D.
November 5, 2015
All Regular/Rolling admissions college application deadline.
E.
January 2016
Complete the FAFSA form as soon as your tax information becomes available. This form will ensure your eligibility for the HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship.
