Determining Your Grade:

The student’s grade will be determined by a variety of assignments including tests, classwork, homework, projects and class participation. Parents will receive a progress report mid term and a report card at the end of the term.

CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

  1. Be honest
  2. Respect others and their property.
  3. Come to class prepared.
  4. Be willing to learn from your mistakes.
  5. Complete all work in pencil only.

DISCIPLINE PROCEDURES

Students will be responsible for their behavior. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. If a student chooses to behave inappropriately in my classroom, there will be a disciplinary consequence.

PROCEDURES –

Missing Class: Make up work is your responsibility. It is important for you to obtain lecture notes and examples from a classmate for the dates of your absence. If you have missed homework, you must turn it in within 2 days of your absence. If you have missed a test or quiz, you must make an appointment to take it within ONEWEEK. Your grade will remain a zero until all work is completed. If you have any questions about this, please speak to me!

Homework: Complete all homework in pencil each and every night. Students are expected to show all of their work. You are EXPECTED to complete your homework assignments! We will check homework daily. Even if you are unsure about how to complete the problems, you must put forth quality effort. Incomplete homework will result in a zero.

Daily Supplies: Everyday, you are expected to come to class prepared with book, workbook, notebook and pencil.

Grade Concerns: Let me know as soon as possible if you are having trouble, whether it stems from taking notes, understanding material, being successful on tests, etc. I cannot help you if I do not know that you need help! Academic Honesty: It is expected that all students will use genuine, sincere, and fair means for their accomplishment on tests, homework, and projects. Students found copying or cheating in any way will receive automatic zeros and have phone calls made to their parents.
