Pumpkin Fun: Our Pumpkin (Inside) – Review “Our Pumpkin” property chart. Ask students how they think the inside of the pumpkin might look. Cut off the top of the pumpkin. Encourage students to peek inside and use their senses to explore the inside of the pumpkin. Record students’ observations on the chart. Next, scoop the seeds and pulp into a bowl. Then weigh the pumpkin and compare the new weight to its original weight. Carve a face to make a jack-o-lantern! (K.P.2.1)
