Registration and Hotel Reservation

Each delegate participating in the Workshop is automatically accredited by returning the completed REGISTRATION AND HOTEL RESERVATION FORM to the Protocol Department of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB) by fax to +36/1/428 2551 or by e-mail to . The organisers in the MNB are responsible for collecting the reservations and forwarding them to the K+K Hotel Opera, unless otherwise requested on the reservation form. The deadline for hotel reservation is the 29th of September, 2006. Any reservation made after this date will be subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed at the special MNB rate.

Arrival in Budapest

The main airport is FerihegyAirport, located approximately 25 km from the city centre and the delegates’ hotel. The airport has two terminals Ferihegy 2A and Ferihegy 2B. (Ferihegy 1 is for the low-cost flights and charter flights only.)

Participants are responsible for their own transportation arrangements between the airport and the hotel.

  • Taxi

Zóna Taxi has a stand in front of both terminals (Ferihegy 2A and 2B)

At the taxi stands you can see a map showing the zones and tariffs

At the airport you can also hail a taxi belonging to other taxi companies, but before getting into a taxicab ask the driver how much the transfer will cost. Every car must have a meter. Make sure the driver turns it on.

  • Airport Minibus

2300HUF / person. The transfer to the hotel takes approximately 1 hour.

Airport minibus is a kind of collective taxi, which travels between the requested destination and the terminals. An Airport Minibus Desk can be found at both terminals.
