5th Grade Supply List

Dear Future 5th Grade Students,

Congratulations on finishing 4th grade! We hope you have a great summer and we are looking forward to meeting you in the fall. Our grade level has come up with a list of recommended school supplies for the upcoming school year.

Please bring to school:

* 3-ring binder- 1 1/2 inches thick with locking-style rings

* 5 folders with holes and inside pockets

* pencil pouch for 3-ring binder (No pencil boxes. All students will need a pencil pouch that fits into binder.)

* extra fine tip black markers (PaperHMate are recommended)

* 3 inch Post-Its

* #2 mechanical or wooden pencils

* 2 packs of loose leaf lined paper

* 3 Mead spiral notebooks (70 count wide rule, solid color)

* red correcting pens

* 1 pack of thin Expo markers

* scissors (small, student sized only)

* 1 ruler (Metric and Inches)

* 2 boxes of facial tissues

* 1 roll of paper towels

* 2 packages of wipes (baby or antibacterial)

* glue sticks (Brands: Avery, Staples, Lakeshore. No Purple Please)

* 1 set of earbuds

These supplies are divided alphabetically by student last name:

* (A-M) thin Crayola markers

* (N-Z) thick Crayola markers

* (A-M) 1 pack of colored pencils, sharpened

* (N-Z) 64 or more box Crayola crayons

Please know that purchases of all materials are optional, but very much appreciated!!

With monetary cuts being made for classroom supplies, we truly appreciate your support.

Please save some money and plan on shopping during Back to School sales at Staples, Target, Costco, and Walmart. Bring your supplies to school during the first couple days of school. Remember to set your alarm to be at school, and ready to learn by 8:25 on the first day of school!
