I am a driven and motivated individual looking to kick start my career at sea. I am currently enrolled in the NC Shipping and Maritime Operations at City of Glasgow College where I am continuing to achieve top marks and expand my knowledge in all aspects of the Merchant Navy and the seas beyond. I am a creative thinker with great ambition and drive who can take a strong lead whilst working comfortably with others. I hold an inquisitive attitude towards new challenges and value life and educational learnings in each new experience.

Hobbies and Interests

I have a keen interest in sailing, and have achieved RYAstage 4 and race training with Sail Lazer. More recently I have begun sailing yachts with crews of up to ten. This is where my team work skills come into there own. I am also a keen cyclist,and have built and restored several bikes over the last 4 years. I love a challenge, andtry to set myself a new target every year on my bike. I also like to make cycling around Arran an annual challenge, with this year being my 5th and fastest.

In my spare time I enjoy going out with my camera and trying to improve my photography.

I hold a full clean UK drivers licence.
