Apley Park Shoot has been listed in the Shooting Gazette as one of Britain's top ten pheasant shoots.It is a traditional pheasant shoot on an ancient family estate.
The shoot on the Apley Terrace in the River Severn valley is perfect terrain for game shooting as well as being one of the most beautiful landscapes in England.They are able to show a great variety of sporting birds including snap shots, diving and curling birds as well as simply high birds. The Horseshoe drive is one of the most famous. Birds are driven over a natural amphitheatre where clumps of sweet chestnut, planted over 200 years ago help lift the birds to the limit of range.
The primary quarry is pheasant, but there are a number of reared & wild partridges shown which add to the high quality & variety of challenges for the keen sportsman.

Rossini’s Barber of Seville is based on a Beaumarchais play of 1775.
Directed by Nicholas Heath this fully staged production of Rossini’s best known comic opera will be sung in Italian. With an additional twist of tango the production set in the 1920’s it will embrace that decade of cultural conflict against a backdrop of decadence.

PRIVATE FLIGHT FOR TWO TO ALDERNEY KINDLY DONATED BY ALAN SIMPSON
Private day flight for two, to Alderney from Sleap airfield, Nr Wem Shropshire. Flight time one hour twenty minutes each way. No customs, no queuing, just arrive at Sleap 15 mins before the agreed departure time and thats it, off we go. Day and time of flight to suit winners.
The stop-over will be between three and five hours depending on the time of year. Best taken at relative short notice when the weather is favorable for sight-seeing.
A full instrument approach is taken into Alderney, using the same routing as commercial traffic. Clients if they wish, will be given a full explanation of this arrival procedure and how it operates, they can also listen in to air traffic communications. Subject to Air traffic control and on departure we would take in a low level coastal circuit of the Island, which is fantastic for getting some super photographs.
The only requirements are, clients must provide their passport details and home address. These are submitted to customs in advance by the pilot. Passenger weights combined should not exceed 420 lbs (190 Kilo). The aircraft is a Commander 115, luxury four seat light aircraft. The pilot /aircraft owner is a local business person who first started flying in in 1982, and has flown extensively in Europe, USA, the Bahamas and Seychelles.

A day for two “behind the scenes” at Peony, the leading UK brand of faux flowers located on the Ruckley Estate, near Shifnal. You will be greeted upon your arrival at Ruckley Grange by both Margaret Ashbourne & daughter Julie Bates, the founders of Peony, for morning coffee, followed by a tour of the production and distribution. You will then be able to join members of our highly talented design team for a flower arranging teaching session with the opportunity to create your own floral masterpiece to take home at the end of the day (all materials provided). Lunch will be served back at the house, then a tour of the garden & lakeside water gardens walk – it is from here that the inspiration for our “true to nature” Peonyfaux flowers originates. Peony holds the worldwide Royal Horticultural Society of England Licence for their flowers because of their botanical correctness.

The highest bidder for this lot will receive a day’s shooting at the Buildwas Estate near Much Wenlock. It is for 2 guns out of a team of 8 shooting on a 200 bird day mixed pheasant and partridge. The day includes, tea or coffee on arrival, elevenses, lunch served in the main house and afternoon tea.
The shoot takes place on Wednesday 28th November

The Costa Esuri golf course is almost ‘on the doorstep’ with a further six courses within a short travelling distance. There are a variety of beaches close by. Ayamonte with its attractive tiles plazas, lines with trees, bars and restaurants is 4 miles from the townhouse. Flights to Faro operate daily from local airports in the spring and summer.
