Read Lesson Five (Electricity) text together. Students will read and highlight ideas and important thoughts. Students will recognize important ideas and details from powerpoints and videos about each group to help students better understand.
Independent/Collaborative Activity (30 minutes) / SS:4-1.4:Summarize the accomplishments of the Vikings and the Portuguese, Spanish, English, and French explorers; including, Leif Eriksson, Columbus, Hernando de Soto, Magellan, Henry Hudson, John Cabot, and La Salle.
