Dear Owners and Residents:
On October 20, 2008 the Board approved a change in the association’s house rules to allow for grilling on the third floor sundeck, along with rules for usage of the grills.
Effective, October 20, 2008, the 400 East Ohio Condominium Association House Rules state:
Grilling and barbecuing is permitted on the third floor sundeck on the Association provided natural gas grills only.
Initial rules for usage of grills:
*Transportation of food to and from the sundeck must be through the freight elevator. All food and beverages must be transported as to not spill at anytime.
*Glassware is allowed on the sundeck.
*Alcoholic beverages are allowed on the sundeck. No public intoxication will be tolerated. Residents are responsible for the behavior of themselves and their guests. Residents and their guests are expected to act in a civil and responsible manner.
*Residents will be required to reserve a grill with the front desk on a first come first serve basis. No single residence may use more than one grill at any given time. When using the grills they must never be left unattended.
*Residents must clean up after themselves and their guests when using the sundeck.
*Residents younger than 17 are not permitted to utilized the grills unless accompanied and supervised by an adult.
*Residents must return these facilities as they were found and bring to the attention of Management any improper situation.
"In addition, based on the comments of owners, the Board may revisit the issue of allowing glassware on the deck. We invite that comments of owners on that issue and on any other building matters."
The Board reserves the right to enact further rules if problems arise. We encourage residents to keep with the spirit of our common areas.
