I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS EVENT, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault. I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently prepared or trained for participation in this activity, and have not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional. I certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude my participation in this activity. I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form will be used by the event holders, sponsors, and organizers of the activity in which I may participate, and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said activity. TG Wild Hog Round Up Rules 2018

Registration:

1. Registration and payment must be received no later than February 14, 2018 at 11:45pm.

2. You may register by:

a. Downloading your entry form, located on the home page of

b. Payment may be made through US Postal Money Order, Walmart’s MoneyGram service, PayPal (State your team name and GIFT to ), Cash, or Cashier’s Check, but NO CHECKS mailed or accepted after February 14, 2018.

3. Team members are NOT REQUIRED to be present for registration.

4. The registration fee is $600 dollars per team, non-refundable, and it includes entry into the side pots for the Largest Boar, Largest Sow, and Longest Stringer.

5. Teams consist of 1-6 people and you cannot be a member of multiple teams.

Rules:

1.This is a live hog weigh-in only.

2.1-6 people per team. This means no children; no significant others or no spectators allowed hunting with your team. If their name isn’t on the entry form, your team will be disqualified.

3.Heaviest 6 hog stringer wins main pot; Hog tie breaker, for all pots, will be the earliest hog weighed.

4.Barr hogs will not count on main 6 hog stringer but will be counted for in longest stringer.

5.Hogs may be weighed in at designated weigh in time only and an official judge must be present. Weigh in will be at Pap’s hog pen, behind Ebenezer Church, located at 3754 FM 3310 Henderson, TX 75654 OPTIONAL WEIGH IN: SATURDAY 2PM-4PM

6.Hogs must be dog caught or bayed up at the time of being caught, and must not be roped, run over, or trapped first. Aircraft may not assist the team in any way.

7.This contest will begin Friday, February 16, 2018 at 5:00PM and end Sunday, February 18 at 1PM, you must be in line or on the premises by then. Hogs harvested outside of the official contest duration will not count.

8.No hogs arriving after the close of weigh-in will be considered for the contest regardless of excuse, calling ahead, or any other unforeseeable circumstance. Each team MUST have hogs on the premises before 1PM. NO EXCEPTIONS!

9.When hunting a ranch, if necessary, the landowner is the only other person allowed to accompany the team however, team members are the only ones permitted to participate in the hunt, this means handling dogs and/or hogs.

10.For the purpose of this hunt, hogs are defined to be feral, free-ranging, wild hogs which have not been previously held, caught, trapped, pen-raised, and released for the purposes of being hunted in this contest and must not have been hunted from within a game fence(low or high). Teams cannot swap hogs or hunt together. Also, members may not buy or take hogs from individuals for this hunt.

11.An official time keeper/end of line judge will determine the close of weigh-in.

12.The team captain must be present at final weigh-in; any team member may weigh hogs at optional weigh in.

13.Teams may be subject to a polygraph test. Teams will be disqualified for refusing a lie detector test. Driver’s license required for polygraph

14.Any contestants found to be cheating, attempting to cheat, or in violation of any of the contest rules will cause the disqualification of the entire team and forfeiture of any and all entry fees and wild hogs which were weighed in at the hunt.

15.Each team’s captain has the option of standing in the weigh in area to witness their team’s hogs being weighed, but please be courteous of the contest officials and their space to weigh in hogs.

16.ALL HOGS MUST BE IN GOOD CONDITION. GOOD CONDITION MEANS EACH HOG MUST BE ABLE TO WALK OUT OF THE TRAILER AND ACROSS THE SCALE UNDER ITS OWN POWER.

17.HELPFUL TIPS: Food and water should be provided to captive hogs, but any forced feeding, water pumping, or foreign objects added to increase weight will be considered cheating. You may treat wounds, but not with medications that interfere with the immediate slaughter and human consumption of the animal.

18.Minimum weight of 50lbs to qualify for any stringer. No Barr hogs for main stringer. All hogs brought must be weighed in unless tournament producer turns down hogs for not being in good condition.

19.There will be no display of weapons (guns or knives) on one’s person on the weigh in’s premises. All dogs must be on a leash or kenneled if they are on the weigh in premises.

20.Anyone behaving in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner will be asked to leave and no refunds or payout will be given to that team.

21.Complaints or objections can be made in the form of a written grievance and submitted to the contest officials before the announcement of the winners. Once the final decision of the contest officials is made, the decision stands.

22.Registration fees are non-refundable and must be paid in cash, gifted through PayPal () or cashier’s check/money order payable to TG Wild Hog Round Ups. The entire team does not need to be present for registration, however, the team members who are named on the entry form are the only members allowed to hunt with that team. No member can be substituted once the registration is closed. Team members are NOT allowed to hunt on multiple teams AND must hunt together.

23.Participants have read all the rules and by signing the entry form they agree to not hold sponsors, host, or any other affiliate of the event liable in the event of something going wrong, either intentional or unintentional.

24.Any substitutions must be made by registration deadline.

25.All dogs must be owned by a member. No borrowed or dogs on trial.

26. Members children under 15 may accompany the team but there will need to have a waiver signed for each child and turned in before registration is closed. Children are allowed to spectate only, no dog or hog handling. Any person over the age of 16 or older must be considered 1 of the 6 team members.
