2017 OASIS C2 Updates
This program will provide education on the following:
- Review how OASIS data is used for payment, OBQI, QBQM, PBQI, survey prep, and public reporting with new CMS 5-star ratings and VBP initiatives
- Review OASIS guidance on assessment and response selection for items used for reimbursement calculation
- Discuss best practices to improve agency performance on outcome and process measures used for HH Star rating calculation

Teresa has provided educational programs on OASIS assessment, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding, agency communications and processes, documentation, quality outcome improvement, and care transitions for regional and state conferences. Certified in OASIS competency (COS-C), Homecare Coding Specialist-Diagnosis (HCS-D), Home Care Coding Specialist-Hospice (HCS-H) and as an AHIMA Approved ICD-10 Trainer, Teresa brings comprehensive and contemporary knowledge of home care and quality improvement methods. Teresa has had 35+ years of experience as Clinical Services and QI/Education manager with home health agencies (independent, hospital-based, and county health dept.), as a hospital patient educator and quality improvement facilitator, and as a program manager with the Quality Improvement Organization for Missouri. She has been with Selman-Holman and Associates since 2011.

Refund Policy –Registration cancellations or requests for refund received in writing (e-mail ok) 7 days before the conference will be entitled to a refund up to the total amount paid, less $25 administrative charge. Cancellations received after the 7th day will be entitled to a refund of 50 percent of amount paid. Refunds will not be made for no-shows. Special consideration will be made for cancellation due to unannounced state, federal, or accreditation survey.
