The website to be deployed by Eddytime Coffee can be used to connect with suppliers and business clients. This business side of the website will open doors for business expansion. Suppliers of the company can benefit from this because of the ease of the purchasing transaction. Ordering of coffee beans, not only in the Philippines but also in international suppliers can be done in the website. This will help the Eddytime Coffee can manage the time and measure the amount of supply they will be having for a said amount of time.

Aside from being a door for suppliers, the website may also be a gateway for business clients. Eddytime will be able to attract more suppliers not only for coffee but also for other supplies and materials used in their products. They can attract investors because of the new professional way of doing things online. This will be a competitive edge on the local coffee shop industry.

II. B2C

E-Commerce websites and shopping carts are famous today because of the scarcity of time. Although the ambience of an actual coffee shop may give a customer experience incomparable to the lack thereof, some people just really don't have the time. Eddytime coffee may be ordered online through the shopping cart that will be a part of the website. This shopping cart will involve the usual components of a shopping cart. This will include the product showcase and price ranges. The customers can purchase these products through transacting with Eddytime website with the security of a payment gateway such as Paypal.

Having a shopping cart will broaden the market of Eddytime Coffee by reaching people who are not within reach of the coffee shops. This can also be used to be a basis on the expansion of the coffeeshops. Eddy can use the statistics of the people purchasing from the website to decide which places to open a new branch for expansion.

III. Marketing

Online presence can make a large difference to the company. More people will find out about the company easily through the largely netwroked web. This can be a stage for promotions that Eddytime Coffeeshop will be holding. Promotions can easily be disseminated through the website.

Events taking place on location can also be announced on the website. You can easily post upcoming events and happenings on the website. This will increase the attendance because the public can be informed easily even without visiting the coffee shop branches.

Other forms of promotions such as e-gift certificates can also be accessed on the internet. Many discount schemes can be done and easily be implemented through the website.

IV. Technology Platform

The technology platform that the website will be running will be a combination of javascript and php. The reason for this is that these two platforms can easily be used for the web. Many tools and techniques are available on the internet for these technologies. Javascript can perform effects and functions such that of a flash application without the bulk and hiring a flash animator which could be a little pricy. Php can be used for form action and functions. These are the tools which are used widely today in the market because of their availabilty and the price. Eddytime Coffee will save on expenses by opting for an open-source developer.

V. User Interface and Design

The website's design and navigation will be a breeze because of the tools to be used. The javascript tools will allow the website to have smooth navigation and modern effects. It will be designed to make the visitors of the website feel the closest experience possible as to going to an Eddytime Coffeeshop. It will be simple and concise with a warm welcoming theme. This will allow the customer to easily navigate through the site.

The website's shopping cart will also be designed for the customer's ease of use. It will include prices and detailed and summarized descriptions of the products available.

VI. Deployment and Maintenance

Deployment of the website will be easy for Eddytime Coffeshop. There are several packages available on the web especially with the use of open source tools. Top web-hosting sites offer services that cater to SQLite and MySQL. These are the basic needs for a website to run with a database.

A team of administrators and moderators can be hired to manage the website's content regularly, but these people should be under the company so as to secure proprietary data of the company within the website.

VII. Payment Gateway

To save on time and money, Paypal is the first choice for a payment gateway. This can verify and secure the payments and transactions made with the company. Paypal will increase the trust and assurance for the customer and the company as well.

VIII. Customer Feedback

Customer feedback can easily be gathered by giving it out with coupons. A startegy that Eddytime Coffeeshop could use is to give a random customer a free coupon for a drink or a gift certificate. Customer feedback can be claimed with these coupons. Also, with other promotions such as discounted purchases or promo claims.The feedback form will be short and concise so as not to bother the customer.
