Topic 1: Business
1)Sign In/Introduction
2)Review of Foreign Pipeline Contact List
-Contact list now on the Indiana Corrosion Society Website. Login Password is anode
-Update Duke (Chris Hageman new contact?)
-Update Praxair –Check if Tim Davis is new contact and get contact info
3)Reviewed Rectifier Cases – New Case format being used (Case # - Year of Submittal); Will also send out current cases to pipeline contact list
-Case 1-16:Nipsco Rectifier in Lapaz: All Parties satisfied; 14 months have passed – Case Closed
-Case 2-16:Marathon Rectifier in Brownsburg: Vectren has tested and is satisfied; Need confirmation with other parties (Panhandle, Buckeye, BP)
-Case 3-16:-Vectren Rectifier in Seymour: Pending 14 month closure; All parties satisfied
-Case 4-16:Vectren Rectifier in Mt. Vernon; CountryMark & Marathon Satisfied; Pending 14 month closure
-Case 1-17:Vectren Rectifier in Bargersville; BP has abandoned line in area and could be interested; No other parties identified
-Case 2-17:Duke Rectifier in Noblesville; Vectren & Panhandle identified as interested parties
-Case 3-17:Nipsco Rectifier in North Liberty; No interested parties identified – Leave open for 14 months
-Case 4-17:Nipsco Rectifier in Bourbon; No interested parties identified – Leave open for 14 months
-Case 5-17: Corrpro (On behalf of unknown company) Rectifier in West Terre Haute; Vectren is interested
2)Discussed need for capturing timelines of Rectifier Interruption of nearby parties, similar to Rectifier Cases
-Could use calendar on website showing Interruption timeframes submitted by companies
-Need to talk to Mark Kocak for website options
3)Create a shared drive for all ICS related materials – Discussed during Purdue Short Course meeting and it was agreed that shared drive is needed; Will look into options
4)May 2018 Meeting
-Brent is working on getting May Meeting scheduled at Brickyard Crossing on Indy 500 Carb Day (May 25)
-Citizens Gas offered the use of their facility as a back-up option
5)Indiana Corrosion Society Constitution - Ray Bingman plans to schedule a conference call in October/November with members to discuss changes
Topic 2: Round Table Discussions
1)ICS Elections – Motion made and carried to hold elections at January meeting, and the following nominations were made
-Brent Shuler as President
-Patrick Elpers as Secretary
2)Website Funding
- Motion made and carried for Purdue Short Course to fund website
-For website sponsorship, give Vendors option to sponsor website when they sign-up for Purdue
3)Jim Dooley gave updates on upcoming NACE Chicago Section events
-October 27th, 2017 – NACE Fall Shoot at Willow Slough Shooting Club in Morocco, IN
- January 9, 2018 – Vendors Day at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet IL
