WORLD MISSION SUNDAY: the whole Church unites in an act of universal solidarity today in prayer for its missionary activity and in collecting funds to support the Mission of the Church worldwide. Presently 40% of the Church is considered missionary.The second collection supports the local Church where it is too young, weak or vulnerable to be self-sufficient. Gift Aid envelopes are available in the porch.
NOAH: this weekendcollects bric-a-brac, small electrical items and clothing. Items can be left in the blue bins in the church porch.

ALTAR SERVERS TRAINING: Friday November 13th, 6.30pm for servers and & 7.30pm for MC’s. Please make every effort to attend the training.
ALTAR SERVERS MASS: with Mgr Sean Healy at the cathedral on Saturday 24th October, 12 noon. We will be leaving at 9.45am and a buffet lunch follows the Mass. Please sign the list in the sacristy. Help with transport from parents would be much appreciated.
RIP: please pray for (Austin) Peter Knight who will be received into church on Thursday 29th and whose requiem Mass will be on Friday 30th at 11.00am. Pray also for Cathy Goldsborough’s sister Peggy Owens who died suddenly.

LADY ZIA PARKING: new electronic gates operate on a timer at weekends. Parishioners are still very welcome to use the car park but must be aware the gates close automatically at 7.30pm on Saturdays and 12.30pm on Sundays.They cannot be opened after that.
ST PAUL’S 2016 MISSALS: are now available for collection from the repository. Also available are Sacred Heart Parish pens priced at £2 each.
DIVINE MERCY RETREAT: A devotional afternoon is planned, including praise & worship, a talk, Holy Hour, Mass & Veneration of Relic of St Faustina, Sunday 23rd October 2.30-5.30pm at St Martin de Porres, all are very welcome.
LUTON LEAGRAVE COMHALTAS: are holding an AGM on Wednesday 21st October from 8pm, St Joseph’s Parish Centre. All members & non-members are welcome to attend.
THE KILKENNY ASSOC: are holding their Grand Buffet Dance on Saturday 24th October at St Joseph’s Parish Centre. Music by Sean Wilson, tickets £12.50. 8.00pm til late.
MARRIAGE COURSE 2016: Anyone marrying in 2016 whether within or outside of the parish must attend the Deanery marriage course. This will be on Saturday 20th February 10.30am-4.00pm at St Joseph’s Parish Centre, 68 Gardenia Avenue. The cost per couple is £30 & includes morning coffee & a buffet lunch; booking forms available from our Parish office.
