26th Annual Community Award Nomination Form

The following awards are open for nominations to recognize excellence of Chamber members and our community from the spring of 2016 to the spring of 2017:
Business Excellence Award: This award is presented to an individual, organization or business demonstrating commitment to ethical business practices, employee loyalty and well-being. The Business Excellence Award recognizes community service fostered through volunteerism and support of local organizations that provide vital services to our community.
Nominee:
Community Caring Award: This award is presented to an individual, organization or business demonstrating commitment to the Monroe community through service.
Nominee
Entrepreneurial Spirit Award: This award is presented to an individual, organization or business demonstrating commitment to the Monroe business community by investing and operating a business headquartered in Monroe. The Entrepreneurial Spirit Award recognizes the effort shown to aid in the success of fellow businesses through sharing experiences and investing time in the ventures of others.
Nominee:
Outstanding Customer Service Award: This award is presented to an individual, organization or business demonstrating commitment to superior customer care and service.
Nominee:
Community Improvement Award: The Community Improvement Award is the award presented to an
organization or individual making substantial improvements to the Monroe Community as a whole, through civic contributions or by restoration or beautification projects that increase the quality of life in our city.
Nominee:
New Business of the Year Award: The New Business of the Year Award is presented to a new organization/business or individual making substantial contributions to the greater Monroe Community through business acumen and practices which enrich the community and increase our quality of life.
Nominee:
Volunteer of the Year (could be more than one): This award is presented to individuals demonstrating exceptional commitment and outstanding dedication to the success of the Monroe Community.
Nominee:
Chamber Member of the Year: This award is presented to a Chamber member demonstrating exceptional support for Chamber and community activities. The Chamber Member of the Year award recognizes the spirit, hard work, and overall contributions to the well-being and growth of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce.
