CAMP PROGRAM

  • Riding Groups will have 6 riders maximum to ensure personalised instruction for all. Book in early to avoid disappointment.
  • 3 riding sessions daily
  • Hot Showers available free of charge

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Entering this camp constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.
  • Correct ‘standards’ numbered helmet must be worn as specified in PCAV Gear Rules and armbands to be worn at all times
  • Gear check before riding in each session
  • Horses must be at least 4 years old, no stallions, colts or rigs.
  • Correct & responsible behaviour is expected from riders, parents & spectators at all times.
  • TLPC reserves the right to refuse any entry, cancel or amend the advertised camp program without notice, at their discretion. In event of camp cancellation before the start date fees will be refunded in full.
  • Dogs are prohibited without exception
  • Disclaimer: Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.
  • Open Riders, late applications & single days considered if space is available after the closing date. Please send an expression of interest prior to the closing date if possible.
  • If riders cancel after the closing date refunds will only be considered by the Committee if the riders place can be taken by another rider or on production of either a Medical or Veterinary certificate. An administration fee of $10 will be deducted.
  • Lungeing at this camp must take place in the confined area designated exclusively for lungeing, by the organizing committee.
  • Only horses kept in secure ELECTRIC fencing or portable yards may remain on the grounds overnight. Yards are to be set up where directed. BYO fencing.
  • Before riding, all open riders must sign a day attendance form. A $10.00 per day attendance fee must also be paid. However, pony club members who present a current club member card are exempt from the fee.
  • PCAV Alcohol Policy applies.
  • ALL riders under 16 years of age must have a parent or guardian present at all times.
  • Campers are to camp where directed by TLPC committee. Please keep your camping area to a minimum so we can fit everyone in.

Note: as the camp provides many different phases of riding and horse mastership with our professional instructors. It is in your best interest to bring a suitable horse/pony, which is capable of participating in all phases of pony club.
