  1. FINAL RECAP: CG Easter Solus Christus Outreach Dinner

As Easter Sunday draws near, do not miss the opportunity to plant the gospel seeds and harvest for the Lord.

Every cell group is encouraged to host this CG Easter Outreach Dinner event and invite your pre-believer friends to experience The Last Supper and the meaning of Easter.

Leaders should have received your event program and manual to guide you and your Cell group in hosting this event via CMS. A similar CMS email was also sent to all Leaders on 28 February.

If you have not done it last week, schedule the dinner event between now and 31 March and remember to invite your friends to the Easter Weekend Celebration (31 March/1 April).

For any enquiries, kindly email:

SOLUS CHRISTUS

Our Walk in Christ: Love(Ephesians 5:22-6:9)

By Senior Pastor, Chris Kam

For the Word session, either use the Word Activity sheet or discuss the questions below.

The BIG Idea:

Relationships are laboratories for building Christlikeness

Thereafter, summarize the sermon followed by these questions.

  • Read the scripture passage.
  • Do a THREE-MINUTE SUMMARY of the sermon highlighting theKEY POINTS. Do not preach the whole sermon again, as majority of your members would have heard the sermon already. Allocate more time for sharing in the cell through the application questions below.
  • Sermon Resource at:

Reflection & Application Questions:

(Whether you are single or married, please adjust the questions to suit your station in life at the present moment).

  1. What is the most significant thing the Holy Spirit spoke to you about through this sermon?
  2. From the passage, describte the key traits of each role. What is familiar or new to you?
  3. In the light of what you heard in the sermon, what do you understand by the big idea: “Relationships are laboratories for building Christlikeness.”
  4. Why is it that relationships in your life can bring the best or the worst out of you? Discuss this in view of our sinful nature of self-centredness, in the light of humility, unity, maturity and integrity.
  5. In the roles relevant to you found in the passage (husband-wife, parent-child, employer-employee), what is one area you find challenging and in which should you grow? Share one practical area you will act on this coming week.

Note to Word leader:

As you are preparing for this session, this is a great time to pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you to use the questions efficaciously. You can select, modify or entirely create your own questions, according to the needs of your CG.
