Mr. Chairman, Administrators, Distinguished guests, participants, ladies and gentlemen
I am Mr. Prasert Chusaeng, the director of Thongsong Technical College and on behalf of the organizing committee I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your attendance at the twenty-third of ESSO-Vocational Science Projects Competition Southern Region in 2013.
As we all know, the advances in science and technologies are linked together in country development. The Science project is a kind of good carrier for awareness of education through one’s direct experience. At the same time. it is beneficial for the students to develop their ability of coordination, problem- solving as well as their team concept.
The Southern Support and Development Vocational Education Center (SVEC) sets annual activities with the hope of establishing a strong foundation for future sustainable development in Science Projects. These activities are successfully facilitated by the sponsors who give financial support as follows
- The ESSO (Thailand) Public Company Limited
- The Science Society of Thailand under the Patronage of His Majesty the King.
- The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT)
- The Vocational Education Commission (VEC)
The objectives of the activities are as follow
1. To honor and praise the King Mongkut who is the father of the Scientists, His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej who is the father of technology and Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn who is the Princess scientist.
2. To motivate students being aware of using Science and Technology in daily life.
3. To exchange and integrate academic views in order to meet the requirement of their need.

- The Vocational Science Projects competition at certificate level and diploma level
- The Academic Exhibition
- Ask and Answer on Science
- Ask and Answer on Math & Math Rally
- Science & Math and English Seminar
- Water Bottle Rocket contest
In this regard, I would like to thank you to Trang Technical College who provide facility and a good chance. Your contribution is deeply appreciated.

กระผม...... ในนามของคณะกรรมการดำเนินงานจัดโครงการมหกรรมการประกวดโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์อาชีวศึกษา - เอสโซ่ ระดับภาค ภาคใต้ ครั้งที่ ๒๓ รู้สึกปลื้มปิติ ยินดี และขอขอบพระคุณท่านประธาน เป็นอย่างสูงที่ ให้เกียรติมาเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด มหกรรมการประกวดโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์อาชีวศึกษา - เอสโซ่ ระดับภาค ภาคใต้ ครั้งที่ ๒๓ ประจำปีพุทธศักราช ๒๕๕๖ ในวันนี้ อีกวาระหนึ่ง
ในปัจจุบันเป็นที่ทราบกันดีว่า ความก้าวหน้าทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีมีบทบาทที่สำคัญยิ่งในการพัฒนาประเทศชาติ ประกอบกับนโยบายของกระทรวงศึกษาธิการที่เน้นในเรื่องวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี การทำโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์จึงเป็นการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาให้นักเรียน นักศึกษา ได้รับประสบการณ์ตรงจากการศึกษาเรียนรู้จากแหล่งเรียนรู้ทั้งในสถานศึกษาและในท้องถิ่น
อาชีวศึกษาภาคใต้ร่วมกับศูนย์ส่งเสริมและพัฒนาอาชีวศึกษาภาคใต้ได้ตระหนักถึงความสำคัญนี้จึงได้จัดกำหนดจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าวขึ้น ในระหว่างวันที่ ๒๓- ๒๖ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๕๖ โดยได้รับงบประมาณสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานจากบริษัทเอสโซ่ประเทศไทยจำกัด(มหาชน) สมาคมวิทยาศาสตร์แห่งประเทศไทย ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการวิจัยแห่งชาติ และสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอาชีวศึกษา
การจัดประกวดโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์อาชีวศึกษา - เอสโซ่ จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้
๑. เพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติและสดุดี ในพระปรีชาสามารถของพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้า เจ้าอยู่หัว “พระบิดาแห่งวิทยาศาสตร์ไทย” พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช พระบิดาแห่งเทคโนโลยีไทย และสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าหญิงจุฬาภรณ์วลัยลักษณ์ เจ้าฟ้าหญิงนักวิทยาศาสตร์ของไทย
๒. เพื่อกระตุ้นให้นักเรียน นักศึกษา เห็นความสำคัญของวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีสามารถนำมาปรับใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน
๓. เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียน นักศึกษาอาชีวศึกษาได้บูรณาการความรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ กับความรู้และทักษะวิชาชีพ สนองความสามารถตามความถนัดและความสนใจ
การจัดงานมหกรรมการประกวดโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์อาชีวศึกษา - เอสโซ่ ระดับภาค ภาคใต้ ในครั้งนี้ ประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมย่อยต่างๆได้แก่
๑. การจัดประกวดโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ ของนักเรียน นักศึกษา ระดับ ปวช. และ ปวส.
๒. การแสดงนิทรรศการและผลงานทางวิชาการ
๓. การตอบปัญหาทางวิทยาศาสตร์
๔. การตอบปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์และคณิตศาสตร์แรลลี่
๕. การสัมมนาครูวิทยาศาสตร์และครูคณิตศาสตร์
๖. การประกวดจรวดขวดน้ำและกิจกรรมอื่นๆ
อนึ่งการจัดงานมหกรรมการประกวดโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์อาชีวศึกษา - เอสโซ่ ครั้งนี้ได้รับความร่วมมือด้วยดีจากคณะกรรมการทุกฝ่าย และในด้านสถานที่ได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จากวิทยาลัยเทคนิคตรัง จึงใคร่ขอขอบคุณมา ณ โอกาสนี้
บัดนี้ได้เวลาอันสมควรแล้ว ขอกราบเรียนเชิญท่านประธาน ได้กล่าวเปิด งานมหกรรมการประกวดโครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์อาชีวศึกษา - เอสโซ่ ระดับภาค ภาคใต้ ครั้งที่ ๒๓ ประจำปีพุทธศักราช ๒๕๕๖ และมอบโล่รางวัล / เกียรติบัตร ให้แก่ครูวิทยาศาสตร์และผู้ทำคุณประโยชน์ด้านการพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์ของอาชีวศึกษาภาคใต้ ตามลำดับ
