Part #1 of our 3-part series run over 3 fun weekends at our upgraded grounds.

High Point winners to be determined at the final event.

The series will be open to all PCWA, Affiliate PCWA and Open PCWA insurance holders.

Canteen available on the day.

Course open for walking 7.45am.

First class starting at 8.30am

  1. 30cm Leadline and Encouragement (no prize money or series points)
  2. 45cm PC
  3. 45cm Open
  4. 60cm PC
  5. 60cm Open
  6. 70cm
  7. 80cm
  8. 90cm
  9. 100cm

Prize money to 3rd place in classes 2 – 9

Ribbons to 6th place in classes 2 – 9

Blue ribbon to all entries who complete class 1.

First round - $15

Ground fee per horse (excluding MPC members) - $10

PCWA Leaderboard Levy is per rider – all entrants - $2.50

Ambulance/First Aid fee per rider – all entrants $5.00

Conditions of Entry:

Entries must be received by 15th June 2018 at 5pm.

Entries on the day will incur a $20 penalty per horse/rider combination.

Please send a copy of your EFT receipt and PCWA membership card with your entry.

Riders age is at January 1st 2018.

Competitors must have PCWA insurance cover. Membership cards and proof of insurance must be shown before gear check.

All competitors must present to gear check prior to mounting. PCWA gear checking rules will apply for all classes and competitors are responsible for being aware of these rules.

PC riders must wear Formal PC Uniform. Affiliate and Open Riders as per the PCWA gear checking manual.

Plaiting is not required.

Each horse/rider combination may compete in a maximum of three (3) rounds at two (2) consecutive heights.

No class changes will be allowed on the day.

All classes will be ran as Optimum Time.

Each class will run two (2) rounds only.

One horse, one rider.

Any one rider can only enter a maximum of two (2) horses.

The judge’s decision is final.

Each class on the program will be split into two (2) categories. Category A is for those horse/rider combinations making their first attempt at the class height. Category B is for those horse/rider combinations doing a second attempt (non-competitive NC/HC) at the class height.

Non-competitive (NC/HC) rounds will not incur points towards our series or prize money but will be eligible for class ribbon placings within their category.

Competitors must notify the organisers of withdrawal prior to close of entries to obtain a refund minus $20 booking fee. After this date a refund will only be given if a Veterinary or Doctors certificate is received by the organiser within 14 days of the event. A $20 booking fee will apply.

Organisers reserve the right to amend/join classes as required and have the absolute discretion to refuse entry to, or eject any competitor from any class, event or series for any reason.

Organisers have the right to reschedule any event or alter the advertised times.

Organisers reserve the right to determine and amend prizes for each and any class, event or the series according to the level of entries or any other reason.

There is no official helper duty list at this event but as we are a small club we would appreciate any assistance to reseat dropped poles and to alter the course between classes.

Strictly NO DOGS allowed.

No stallions permitted on MPC grounds.

Mortlock Pony Club Show Jumping Series

Series points will be allocated for classes 2 – 9 as follows:

1st – 7 points

2nd – 6 points

3rd – 5 points

4th – 4 points

5th – 3 points

6th – points

Completion of a jumping round without being eliminated – 1 point

Competitors must compete in two (2) or more of the series events to be eligible for the high point awards and must ride at the final event.

Event dates are 24th June 29th July and 26th August.

Points are allocated based on each horse/rider combination.

Series winners will be announced, and prizes awarded, at the final event. Winners must be compete at the finale (Series #3) to collect prizes. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeit and allocated to the next rider of highest standing in the point series.

Age groups for the Mortlock Pony Club Show Jumping Series: Junior Jumper (Rider aged 12 years and under), Teen Jumper (Rider aged 13 years to 17 years), Senior Jumper (Rider 18 years and over).

We will also be awarding prizes for High Point OTT TB and STB.

Mortlock Pony Club Show Jumping Series High Point winners will receive a collection of goods donated by our lovely sponsors.
