2018 SECONDARY EDUCATION GRANT INFORMATION SHEET FOR YEARS 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13

General Criteria
To be eligible for an education grant applicants must;
- be registered with the Ruapuha Uekaha Hapu Trust
- be enrolled at a secondary school or certified home school
- provide verification from the school your child is enrolled in
- fill in all sections of the application form
- provide all supporting documents requested in the application form
- ensure that the information provided is correct.
If your child/children are not registered you can download Registration Forms from the RUHT website If you are not sure if your child/children are registered contact CJ the Trust’s Administrator on 0800 525 626 or email
Please note that students currently in Year 8 transitioning to college in 2017 can apply for a secondary grant and must fill in this form.
Verification
Verification of enrolment from the school your child/children will be attending in 2018 must be provided.
If you have multiple children attending the same school you can list all of your children on one letter. Please make sure to give us the year your child/children will be in 2018. Attach a copy of the same letter for each application.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE;
- Payments will be direct credited to the bank account of the applicant’s parent or care giver and not to the student unless there are special circumstances.
- Payments can be made directly to a school but your child’s student number must be included on the form.
- To ensure that we have the correct bank details an encoded bank deposit slip,or copy of a bank statement with your name, address and account details must be provided.
- The amount awarded to successful applicants is determined based upon the number of applications for the budgetary pool available which may vary from year to year.
- To ensure a quick turn-around in processing applications we would prefer to contact you via email, txt or by phone. Please assist us by providing us with this information on your application.
