SCHEDULE:

FORMAT: This is an Age Group and Senior timed final pre-seeded meet unless otherwise indicated. All individual event races will be swam with the timing system turned OFF in order for swimmers to focus on technique as taught by the Coaching staff and to keep the meet competitive and race based. There will be a standard 10 minute break before the 100IM races. During this time ALL SwimMAC participating athletes will conduct a cleanup of their areas throughout the stands and pool deck. This is mandatory.
Following the 10 minute break; the timing system will be activated and the 100IM races will be timed.
All racing times WILL be recorded via meet mobile as this is a sanctioned meet.
APPAREL: Wear clothing in your team’s color, SwimMAC Team suit, Each team will be provided a designated “Blue” or “Orange” team swim cap (not your SwimMAC team cap)
PURPOSE: Marlin 1: Exposure to all four strokes, a fun, team environment, and specific stroke skills
Dolphin Division: all do 50fly-50bk-50br-100IM, one primary goal to hit, have fun!
Shark Division: 100 IM plus strokes 2,3,4. Execute new skills in a racing environment, value underwaters and DPS, team spirit, and enforce meet clean-‐up expectations
Senior Division: all do 100IM, swimmers select other 3 events Set a baseline for best swims of the season, start new racing season with best habits and discover possible weaknesses
PARKING: There will be no parking in the HFFA West Lot and no parking at the Huntersville Park across the street. There will be parking available in the HFFA East Parking Lot for the entire event. Parking is also available at the following locations: CPCC campus, Mecklenburg County LUESA, Rainbow Childcare, Gatling Center.

SEATING & CHAIRS: There will be seating in the bleachers and you may be bring chairs. There will be no chairs allowed in front of any bleachers but you may set up chairs along the back walls. Swimmers will be sitting in the bleachers near the warm-up warm-down lanes.
