The Winter MagicFestival is a unique event, designed to bring back to the stage amazing, live, magic shows, which are rarely accessible to the general public.
Each year we bring together the master magicians and the future stars of magic. Hosted by Indianapolis’ favorite husband and wife mentalists, Christian and Katalina, the sixth annual Winter Magic Festival presents the world’s top magicians
in an intimate close up setting where you can’t miss a trick!!! Superstars of magic will share the stage for the WINTER MAGIC SHOWCASE and partner to bring three extended one-hour shows on weekends. Magicians include Argentinian’s famous female magician, Alba and stars of The Magic Castle and Las Vegas and NYC headliners, Kozmo, Garrett Thomas and Chris Capehart. The line-up will also include millennials Trent James, the hipster magician who at age 18 qualified for the finals of the prestigious 2016 FISM World Championship of Magic and Alex Boyce, a rising star who regularly performs at NYC Monday Night Magic and on the college circuit.
THE LINE UP
Kozmo, one of the world’s leading street magicians headlines the sixth Winter Magic Festival. In addition to performing and lecturing, Kosmo produces"Reel Magic magazine," a conjuring magazine sold in video format. The magazine is jam-packed with exclusive interviews, magic trick reviews and tantalizing articles.
Chris Capehart's Three Ring Routine is not to be missed. It is the closest thing to pure magic.
Garrett Thomas, Master Magician is known for being aninnovator as well as one of the top card, coin, and ring manipulators.
Albathe first female magician from South America to appear at Hollywood’s famous Magic Castle, has performed over 150 shows (and counting) on all three of The Magic Castle main stages.
Alexander Boyce's performances have been called “sophisticated” and “astonishing.”

One of the world’s leading street magicians.
Born in upstate New York, Kosmo was endlessly fascinated by the art of magic and at age 9, he made magic his hobby. In the early 1980s, while working at Cornell University as a broadcast engineer, Kozmoheard about a street festival and wanted to see if he could make some extra cash performing card tricks there. In just three days, he earned nearly two thousand dollars. In disbelief, Kozmo wanted to test the streets out once again. So he brought his bag of tricks with him and performed - and again he yielded great results. He was about to take his childhood hobby and turn it into a professional career. Alexander Boyce, NYC

Alexander Boyce's performances have been called “sophisticated” and “astonishing.”
His appearance accompanied by the Philadelphia Orchestra was hailed as “Enchanting” by the Philadelphia Inquirer and he is in demand at performing arts centers, banquets, colleges, corporations, and everywhere in between. Training began for him at the age of 11, when he began attending the prestigious Tannen's Magic Camp. Since, he has been invited back as an instructor. He frequently performs at Monday Night Magic, NYC's longest running magic show. Alexander hails from Endicott, NY and is a student at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts as an Acting major.
Trent James, Chicago
Award-winning, comedy magician Trent James is bringing a fresh new feel to the “classic magic show”.
Trent’s high-energy performance, combines mind boggling magic with gut busting humor that has earned rave reviews in seventeen states. As the winner of over twenty prestigious awards, and a 2015 North American finalist in the FISM World Championships, Trent is quickly becoming one of the top magicians in the country. His unique sleight of hand magic and hip vibe have made him a huge hit at colleges, comedy clubs, and corporate events.
Garrett Thomas, NYC

Garrett Thomas is a close-up magician based out of the WNY who performs at public and private events across the United States. As a magician, Garrett is known for being aninnovator as well as one of the top card, coin, and ring manipulators. His original effects, extreme technical skills, and keen understanding of human psychology culminate in highly visual, entertaining, and often enlightening routines.
Garrett's commitment to the art of magic manifests not only in his performances, but also in his strong commitment to teachingthescience and psychology of magic to other magicians. Garrett has produced several instructional books and videos on the subjects of coin, card and ring manipulation, creating magical moments, and on the secret to becoming a “real” magician.
It is this combination of imagination and skill that has led Garrett Thomas to become a sought after speaker at international magic conventions, a regular contributor to the bi-monthly video magazine Reel Magic Magazine and a columnist for the Society of American Magicians. He is also a personal instructor / consultant to many other world class magicians such as David Blaine, and Marco. Most recently he was declared to be Howie Mandel’s favorite magician on Live! with Kelly.

Chris Capehart is an accomplished master magician. He is respected throughout the world by his peers, applauded for his skills by the most famous of magicians and sought after for repeat performances by clients.
Chris Capehart has done it all. In thirty-five years he has performed on the big stage, lectured to magicians, become a famous, accomplished street performer, created routines and mastered the linking rings. He has been published and imitated throughout the world. His skill at close-up is no less than astonishing. His quick comeback verbal skills sharpened on the streets of New York City have made him an outstanding comedian. Chris Capehart is a regular headliner at "Monday Night Magic" in New York City.
Chris Capehart has been dubbed "The Ring Master" and for good reasons. The three-ring routine is one of the cornerstones of magical illusions. Chris's three-ring routine, which he perfected in 1981, has been acclaimed by some of the world's most renowned magicians as "the best of the best." He mesmerizes magicians and audiences with a close-up ring routine more commonly performed at a distance. His routine is featured in Volume 13 of the highly acclaimed magic series "Stars of Magic" that is marketed to other magicians around the world.
ALBAbecame the first female magician from South America to appear at Hollywood’s famous Magic Castle, having now performed over 150 Shows (and counting) on three of their main stages . Internationally recognized for her sleight of hand (and mind!) she has performed on TV internationally, at Magic Conventions as an artist, simultaneous translator and lecturer; has written a book about restaurant magic; was the winner at the Chicago´s Close-Up Magic Competition at Navy Pier; and was also awarded the “Star of Magic” after 6 months of live TV competition among more than 70 contestants.
