2017 Humble ISD Golf Classic
Monday, February 20, 2017
The 8th Annual Humble ISD Golf Classic will be held on Monday, February 20th, 2017 at the Clubs of Kingwood. Each year, the golf team members and families from Atascocita, Kingwood, Kingwood Park and Summer Creek High Schools come together to raise funds to contribute to the Humble ISD Athletic budget. Proceeds help the cost of the Golf programs at a level which allows any student who wishes to play golf in HISD the opportunity to do so.
This full day event hosts up to 600 supporters and features an 18 hole tournament, on course activities, opportunity drawings, silent auction, prize packages and an awards dinner. The event is a great venue for family fun as well as a perfect marketplace to expand the workplace of business professionals. A scholarship has been funded through the proceeds and is awarded to a Senior Golf Student.
The success of this event is a testament to the commitment of the families involved with the golf programs.
STUDENTS - Each student in Golf is expected to REGISTER, to PLAY or VOLUNTEER at the event. Players can register as an individual or as part of a team. Each student has an individual goal to bring in $400 in contributions to the event. This can be accomplished by registering a team, sponsorship, auction items and/or donations.
PARENTS – Students will be successful in meeting their goals with the support of their Parents. Register to PLAY or VOLUNTEER. Solicit sponsorships, auction items and Donations. Many companies match gifts for 501(c) organizations, so be sure to inquire if your company has a matching program.

Our first planning meeting is Tuesday, October 4th at Kingwood Country Club. Please plan to attend to learn how you can help your student athlete meet their $400 tournament contribution requirements. We are also looking for parent volunteers to head up committees and offer help the day of the tournament. ALL HELP IS WELCOME!!
Kingwood CC is located @ 1700 Lake Kingwood Trail – across from KHS.
