2017 Hamilton Winter 2-day Tournament

Dear Colleagues:

You are cordially invited to attend the Hamilton Invitational Speech / Drama / Debate Tournament December 15-16, 2017

Registration:Register your team on line athttp://www.forensicstournament.net/Hamilton/17no later thanWednesday, Dec. 6th.JV teams are welcome but will not qualify for sweeps. You may make adjustments to your entry by going online. Additions will be closed on Mon. Dec. 11. Drops will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Changes in registration after the deadlines will need to be made by calling or emailing the tournament director.

Entry Fees:Entry fees will be$5.00per entry. Please call all drops to 381-7727 when you are on the bus to avoid problems.Please do not pay at registration. No drop fee will be charged. Your school will be billed based on registration and adjustments made after initial registration, if any.
Rules:The MHSA handbook rules will be enforced.

Note: Debate rounds 1-3 on Friday will be pre-paired, in the interest of running on time on Friday.

PF topic for this meet: Resolved: NCAA student athletes ought to be recognized as employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Registration: Please call or text 406-381-7727 with any drops when on the bus to avoid drops at the tablethe day of the tournament. Teams will be billed after the tournament.

SATURDAY
ROUND IV 8:30 am / 8:30 am / Draw - 8:00 am
ROUND V 10:00 am / 10:00 am / Draw – 9:30 am
Semi-Finals 12:00 pm / 12:00 pm / Draw – 12:30 pm
FINALS 2:30 pm / 2:30 pm / Draw – 2:30pm
AWARDS- will be in the HHS Gym
@ 4:30 pm or as soon as the final results are tabulated.

Location: Depending on number of entries speech & drama events will be held at the Hamilton High School with Debate at Hamilton Middle School, if entries warrant usinga 2nd site. Coaches will be notified by email to confirm registration numbers, entries and competition locations.

Concessionswill be available to students, lunch will be provided for coaches and drivers.

The Hamilton School District is equipped with computers in each classroom. Students are reminded that they are guests and should act as such.

No tampering with classrooms, computers, or teacher and / or student materials!
Coaches are expected to monitor their students.
Because of the noise factor, no open stereos in any buildings EXCEPT when required for a piece.
