The 2017 Day of Service Planning Committee is comprised of9 individual committees each with a chair as well as an assistant. Each committee plays a vital role to the overall planning of the Day of Service.

The committees are as follows:

  • Public Relations– Responsible for publicity and education about the Day
  • Student Recruitment – Responsible for organizing and recruiting students
  • Faculty, Staff, and Alumni Recruitment– Responsible for organizing and recruiting Villanova employees, Alumni, and friends
  • Supplies Team – Responsible for ordering and distributing supplies
  • Registration Team – Responsible for the volunteer registration system
  • Transportation Team – Responsible for all transportation needs for the Day
  • Administration Team – Responsible for organizing logistical details for the Day of Service
  • Service Site Team – Responsible for recruiting and organizing service sites as well as recruiting and training Service Site Captains
  • Service Site Leader Team– Responsible for training and communicating with SSLs

The application process includes filling out the attached application and then attending an interview. The attached application is due (via email) to Brian Fox () by 5:00pm on January 23rd. You will be contacted immediately to schedule and interview as early as January 24th. Any questions can be directed to the Day of Service Student Chair – Brian Foxat ()
