UNC - Charlotte - Levine Scholars Program / The Levine Scholars Program is UNCCharlotte’s most prestigious merit scholarship program that was established in 2009 by benefactors Sandra and Leon Levine. The inaugural class of Levine Scholars entered in the fall semester of 2010 and a new cohort of approximately 15 students is selected to join the program each year. Army ROTC Scholarship through UNG / Academics:
You mustmeet the academic requirements for admissionto the University of North Georgia.
Medical:
You must be medically, physically and psychologically qualified to become an Army lieutenant. You must also meet theArmy's physical standards.
General:
You must be a US citizen; age 17 or older before the end of your first semester at UNG; no moral obligation or personal conviction which would prevent you from bearing arms or defending the US; satisfactorily explain any record of arrest and/or civil conviction (very difficult to get a waiver); have a strong desire to serve as a Regular Army officer after graduating from college.
The DoDMERB physical exam is not required to apply for the scholarship. Physical exams will be scheduled after the award is made.

Scholarship:

This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship.

Purpose:

To provide educational opportunities for worthy qualified students who might otherwise be denied the opportunity for a higher education.

Application:

A student of the current graduation class who desires to be considered for this scholarship award should apply to the Counselor’s office of the school he or she is attending. University of Alabama
Out of State Scholarships / First time freshmen who meet the December 15 scholarship deadline, have a qualifying score on the ACT or SAT and have at least a 3.5 cumulative high school GPA through the junior year will be eligible for the following merit-based scholarships:
Capstone Scholar
  • A student with a 27 ACT or 1280-1300 SAT score and a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA will be selected as a Capstone Scholar and will receive $20,000 over four years ($5,000 per year).
Collegiate Scholar
  • A student with a 28 ACT or 1310-1340 SAT score and a minimum GPA of 3.5 will be named a Collegiate Scholar and will receive $24,000 over four years ($6,000 per year).
Foundation in Excellence Scholar
  • A student with a 29 ACT or 1350-1380 SAT score and at least a 3.5 GPA will be named a Foundation in Excellence Scholar and will receive $52,000 over four years ($13,000 per year).
UA Scholar
  • A student with a 30-32 ACT or 1390-1480 SAT score and at least a 3.5 GPA, he or she will be named a UA Scholar and will receive $76,000 over four years ($19,000 per year).
Presidential Scholar
  • A student with a 33-36 ACT or 1490-1600 SAT score and at least a 3.5 GPA will be selected as a Presidential Scholar and will receive $100,000 over four years ($25,000 per year). Students graduating with remaining scholarship semester(s) may use these monies toward graduate school and/or law school study at UA.
Presidential Elite Scholar
A student with a 4.0 GPA and a 36 ACT or 1600 SAT will be selected as a Presidential Elite Scholar and will receive:
  • Value of tuition for up to four years for degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate or law studies
  • One year of on-campus housing at regular room rate
  • $1,000 per year stipend for four years
  • $2,000 one-time allowance for use in summer research or international study (after completing one year of study at UA)
  • $2,000 book scholarship ($500 per year for four years)

Sawnee Electric Membership Foundation 2018 Youth Scholarship Program /

Gettysburg College
STEM Scholarship / With help from a generous grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Gettysburg College is offering a STEM scholarship program for students interested in STEM fields (Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics). STEM Scholars will have their full demonstrated financial need met for all four years with no loans, and have the opportunity to:
  • Attend a STEM-focused pre-orientation workshop with other STEM Scholars.
  • Enroll in an exclusive First-Year Seminar taught by STEM faculty.
  • Participate in bi-monthly luncheons with STEM faculty and a variety of learning activities on and off campus.
  • Take advantage of various STEM offerings, including faculty-student research, peer-mentoring, preferential residence in Gettysburg College's Science House, and internship opportunities with industrial partners.
Our deadline for Regular Decision admission (using the Common Application) is January 15, and students should file both the CSS Financial Aid Profile and FAFSA by January 15.
