President
Jennifer Johnston
Jennifer has been in the commercial Mechanical / Plumbing industry for over 9 years. Her experience as a service supplier and project manager while at C&R Mechanical allowed her to interact and meet the unique needs of the entire spectrum of facility managers and their properties.Building on that knowledge, her role at Ferguson Enterprises allowed her constant involvement with facility and property management teams by recognizing their individual challenges. This diverse experience allows Jennifer to understand the differing needs of our members while providing solutions that will benefit everyone.
Jennifer has also served on the board for the American Subcontractors Association while holding the position as Membership Chair for 5 years. The experience gained as a leader of this large and diverse organization, gives her the confidence and experience to effectively lead an organization towards their goals.Jennifer has also been an active IFMA member by serving on the Golf Classic committee for 3 years, golf chair for 3 years, as well as serving on the membership development and programs committees.
Jennifer currently serves as the Chapter Treasurer and is looking forward to the opportunity to serve as your Chapter President.
Vice President
Jacqueline “Jacque” Mattingly, PMP, FMP; Workplace Strategy Manager,
Monsanto Company
Jacque is a Workplace Strategy Manager with 19 years of experience developing and leading complex projects within global matrix organizations. She works with leadership to identify opportunities to promote workplace performance. Jacque is recognized for connecting organizational culture with work processes, resulting in improved facility layouts.
Jacque currently holds Facility Management Professional (FMP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. She is an active professional member of the St. Louis Chapter of Project Management Institute. She is also a leader in the Greater St. Louis Area Council’s Boy Scouting program.
She has served on your Chapter’s Program, Advocacy, and Marketing Committees. She currently serves as the Chapter Secretary, and is looking forward to the opportunity to serve as your Chapter Vice President.
Treasurer
T. Jeff Touchette - Jarrell Mechanical Contractors
Jeff has been in the commercial HVAC and building automation industry for close to 10 years, working at Doll Services and Engineering, Eagle Energy and for the last 5 years at Jarrell Mechanical Contractors. His career has immersed him in facilities, from heating and cooling, to controlling the building, to plumbing and providing the electrical needs of commercial and industrial facilities.
Being in a sales position for one of the largest mechanical contractors in the region has given Jeff the opportunity to interact with some of the area’s largest corporations, institutions, schools, healthcare facilities and property management firms. This experience has been key to Jeff’s understanding of how to work with facility managers to budget, manage projects, handle employee needs and issues and respond to emergencies.
Jeff has been an active member of IFMA for over seven years and has served as Chairman of the Education, Membership and currently the Programs Committee.
In addition to IFMA, Jeff is also a member of IREM (International Real Estate Management) and BOMA (Building Owners Management Association) and currently serving on BOMA’s Emergency Preparedness Committee. Being a member of these two other facility focused organizations gives Jeff the unique ability to bring ideas to IFMA such as topics, speakers, events, fundraisers and even new members.
Secretary
Scott Held, CFM – Ameren Corporation
Scott is a Manager of Building Services with 11 years of experience. He is responsible for operating and maintaining 2.4 million sq. ft. of office space and operating centers throughout the state of Missouri including the Ameren HQ in St. Louis. He has a combination of 39 management and skilled craft employees reporting to him.
Scott is a part of a team that provides support in the following areas for 168 Ameren sites in Missouri and Illinois which has a total of 4.8 million gross square feet of facilities: Engineering/Project Management, Space Planning, Operations & Maintenance.
Scott began his career at Ameren in 1991 in the Engineering and Construction Department as a Senior Construction Draftsman. In 1999, he was promoted to a Supervisor in the Mechanical/Structural Drafting Department. In 2005, he was promoted into the Building Services Department in the position he currently holds today.
Scott has been an active member of IFMA for 11 years. He earned his FMP certification in August of 2007 and earned his CFM certification in March of 2013. Scott is currently serving as the chapter’s education committee, a position he has held since July of 2015.
