The team won its secondstraight NCCAADivision IISouth Region Championship, a feat that earnedits players topseeding for the national tournament; and

Whereas, when the Lady Bruins won their secondstraight national title, they also won their third title in the last four seasons. Furthermore, they earned the Platinum Award for sportsmanship, and Coach Chris Carmichael won his second straight National Coach of the Year Award; and

Whereas, Bob Jones forward Mimi Lozano was named NCCAADivision IINational Player of the Year, as well as First Team AllAmerican. Abby Davis and Jenny Townsend were also named First TeamAllAmerican, and Natasha Walters earned Second Team AllAmerican honors; and

Whereas, the House is proud to declare its members among the BJU women’s soccer team’s most ardent fans. On behalf of the people of South Carolina, the House offers its congratulations on a class act and best wishes for continued success. Now, therefore,
