  • Finalize locations for practices.

  • Recruit adult helpers as needed. Encourage to complete the 4-H Volunteer Screening process.
  • Promote educational opportunities in 4-H Newsletters, 4-H web sites, etc.
  • Set first practice date.
  • Visit regularly with Extension Agent.
  • Purchase medical accidental insurance through AIL.*

Review the past year
Complete the Instructor and/or Helper report forms
Ask if renewing as Instructor – yes – collect $5. Local determination on Helper.
Coordinator – summarize the Instructor, Helper and other Coordinator forms.
Submit all forms and money to the Kansas 4-H State Office on or before November 1. Starting November 2, fee doubles to $10 all forms and money must be in by December 1. No forms or money no program. / 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator(s)
