Entry Information
Masters-aged men and women, 40 and up, may apply to compete in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials as a part of the 2016 USATF Masters Invitational Program. All entrants must be USATF Members for the 2016 calendar year in order to compete in this prestigious meet. If you do not have a 2016 USATF Membership, please compete a membership application first. Athletes must also be U.S. citizens and meet the qualifying standards described below.
Qualifying Standards
To apply for entry into this Masters Invitational Program event, you must have me the following standard during the 2015 or 2016 seasons:

Masters Women’s 1500m 5:32.00 – 1500m OR 40+ 12
6:00.00 – Mile
Masters Men’s 1500m 4:16.00 – 1500m OR 40+ 12
4:33.00 – Mile
*Must be a verifiable time from a 2015 or 2016 USATF sanctioned event or a collegiate meet utilizing FAT timing.
**Up to two (2) alternates will also be selected; no more than three (3) athletes can represent the same USATF club for these events.
Application Deadline and Entry Fee
· The application deadline is June 18, 2016 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
· The entry fee is $25 USD. Athletes not selected to compete will be refunded 50% of the fee.
Application Process
· Athletes interested in competing must submit an entry with the $25 entry fee before the entry deadline (June 18, 2016 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time).
· Completion of an Online Entry DOES NOT mean an athlete is entered in the meet. The USATF Masters Invitational Program Committee will review entries and, based on qualifying marks in rank order, select the athletes who may compete in the individual events.
· Athletes not selected to compete will be refunded 50% of the entry fee.
· Athletes do not need to declare themselves through the elite athlete process.
