Dear:

On behalf of the St. Louis Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, I am writing in regards to a sponsorship opportunity for our annual Student Night Event. The goal of our Student Night Event is to increase awareness of internal auditing as a profession by connecting students and faculty to internal audit professionals. Your company has supported in years past, and we would like to give you the opportunity to continue supporting this event.

This year’s Student Night is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac. Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by “speed networking,” a speaker presentation, and a networking/career fair to round out the night. Appetizers and beverages will be provided throughout the evening.

We are soliciting your participation in several ways:

First, we would appreciate your support by sponsoring students for the event at a cost of $35 per student. Contributions are recognized at the Silver, Gold, and Platinum level as follows:

Silver Sponsorship Level: Sponsorship of 2 students

Gold Sponsorship Level: Sponsorship of 4 students

Platinum Sponsorship Level: Sponsorship of 6 or more students

Recognition will be given at the event as well as in the newsletter following the event.

Second, tables will be available for company representatives to talk with students. This is an opportunity for you to advertise your company and the special role of internal audit within your firm and/or collect resumes for internships or full-time employment. Please RSVP if you wish to reserve a table. There is no cost for reserving a table, but they are reserved on a first come first served basis. Once all tables have been reserved, a table cannot be guaranteed for your company.

If you are interested in supporting, please complete the attached registration form and forward it to me via email, fax or postal mail by Monday, January 5, 2015. Feel free to contact me at or at 314.445.0076 if you have any questions regarding this year’s event.

We are expecting a large number of students, so please help make this a successful Student Night!

Thank you in advance for your participation.

Sincerely,

Besa Dibwe
