2015-2016 FYSA Olympic Development Program
· What age groups will be included in this year’s program?
This year’s program will include players born in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 both boys and girls. The FYSA ODP players are identified for pools and teams based on the year they were born. Pools and teams are formed for each birth year. It is very rare that we would have a player participate in a birth year that is not their own. This is the international standard and differs from our club U12-U18 age groupings which may have multiple birth years on their teams.
· How was the initial FYSA ODP player pool formed?
The 2015-2016 initial FYSA ODP player pool is based on the FYSA selected teams from the 2014-2015 year in the 1999-2002 age groups.

For players born in 1999-2001 there will be a limited number of trials in the fall to identify players outside the FYSA Scouting process.
