COMPETITION RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Competitors compete at their own risk. (Recommended that each entrant be self-insured).
  • Competitors acknowledge that:
  • Shearers must use their own hand piece (WORM DRIVE).
  • All rules and regulations for this competition will be those of Sport Shear Australia.
  • Registration for competitors is required a minimum of 20 minutes prior to advertised section start time.
  • All rulings by the Chief Judges and/or the Disputes Committee are final.

The Warrnambool Agricultural Society Inc and its appropriate Committee reserves the right:

  • To reject any entry without assigning any reason.
  • To cancel any event or class.
  • To alter the time at which any event or class is to take place, or the conditions of any event, or class.

The Warrnambool Agricultural Society Inc and Sports Shear Australia Inc accept no liability for personal injury and/or property damage to any person participating in shearing events.
