Richmond, Calif. – August 21, 2013 – The world will get its first view of the newly designed 2014 Airoh Aviator 2.1 DOT/ECE helmets as they have arrived and are now shipping. The Aviator is the top choice of many of Europe’s and the USA’s best motocross riders, and now they are available to consumers in North America for the first time ever through LeoVince USA.
The Aviator 2.1 off-road helmet comes in at an incredible 1150 grams (2.5lbs) and offers brand-new graphics and color options for 2014. A new “Carbon” design along with updated “Viper” color ways are arriving now, and a just-released Bi-Color will be available in the coming weeks. On the horizon is a “Six Days” version to commemorate Airoh as the official helmet sponsor of this year’s Six Day event.
Most importantly, Airoh helmets feature both DOT and ECE 22.05 approvals so dealers and consumers can buy this U.S.-legal helmet with confidence. Consumers and dealers need to be aware of other non-DOT Airoh helmets that are currently on the market from non-authorized sources.
The Aviator 2.1 is wind tunnel tested and features maximum lightness, comfort and safety. It sets a new standard with perks like the Airoh Emergency System for safe removal, multiple front and rear vents, removable inner pads, and a sliding visor with a quick-screw release.
Many riders and racers have already seen the Aviator helmet in action as the dominant off-road brand throughout Europe and in top-tier U.S. races thanks to Rockstar Energy Racing’s Blake Wharton and Jason Anderson, who race the 250 class of Monster Energy Supercross. Most recently, Airoh rider Taddy Blazusiak tore it up as the winner of the X-Games endurocross gold.
LeoVince USA has all sizes (XS-XXL) and all color options for the Airoh Aviator 2.1 in stock or arriving throughout August and September. These helmets will be going fast, so order now to be one of the first dealers to offer—or one of the first riders to wear—this world-class helmet.
