2013 Chicago SHRM and DePaul

One Year Agreement: April 22, 2013 – March 22, 2014

Benefits offered in this Agreement:

1)  Marketing:

a)  DePaul Logo will be posted with a supplied hyperlink on the Chicago SHRM Home page under partnerships. This logo will be posted for 12 months from the inception of our partnership

i)  We will also post a page on our web site with DePaul’s information similar to this page on our web site – Click Here

b)  Email Blasts:

i)  DePaul will be allowed, on an approved schedule and approved wording two email blasts within the dates of this contract:

(1)  Sent to our 800 members plus approximately 8,000 other contacts

ii)  Email blast of the DePaul/Chicago SHRM partnership, This will be done prior to the May 29th and in conjunction with an announcement of the event. (This will take the place of a press release)

(1)  DePaul to provide the wording in HTML format if possible

(2)  Chicago SHRM to approve wording

iii)  This opening sentence, supplied by Pamela Meyer, will be used on the email blast:

(1)  Chicago SHRM is proud to announce its new partnership with DePaul University's School for New Learning, DePaul's only college dedicated exclusively to adults. To launch our partnership, we invite you to join us on May 29th to network and discover how you can get the most from your SHRM/HRCI credentials.

c)  DePaul will record YouTube videos that will be posted in our newsletter on a quarterly basis.

d)  Monthly Electronic Newsletter

i)  Newsletter sent to our 8000+ contact list

(1)  Two Newsletter articles authored by DePaul will be placed in agreed upon months

(2)  Two Newsletter ads supplied by DePaul will be placed in agreed upon months

2)  Alliances:

a)  Crain’s Chicago:

i)  Chicago SHRM will develop a partnership announcement ad to be run in Chicago Crain’s on-line magazine (www.chicagobusiness.com) Per Chicago SHRM’s partnership with Crain’s, we will be able to offer 25,000 rotations of the ads which appear in three different sizes.

(1)  DePaul will be able to work with Chicago SHRM to develop the ads and give us final approval.

ii)  Chicago SHRM will work with Crain’s to have these run over an agreed time frame and schedule.

3)  Emerging Leaders:

a)  The SNL will host two to three of the Emerging Leaders Committee meetings which are normally held from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. and consists of approximately 15 members

b)  SNL representative/s will attend the committee meetings to educate the committee members about the School of New Learning

c)  SNL will host an evening networking event for the Emerging Leaders Group with an anticipated attendance of 30-50 attendees

d)  SNL representative/s will be given the opportunity to talk to the attendees for 5-10 minutes during the evening to introduce them to the SNL

e)  The Emerging Leaders Committee will include SNL representative/s in any further networking events that the group plans

f)  SNL representatives will be invited to attend to May 30 Educational panel discussion (Click Here to view details)

i)  A SNL representative will be given 3-5 minutes of podium time during the initial meeting announcements to introduce their program to the attendees

ii)  SNL materials will be distributed at the event.

g)  The Chicago SHRM Emerging Leaders Committee and our College Relations Chair and Committee will work to have interaction between the DePaul student chapter and the School of New Learning.

4)  Membership:

a)  DePaul will be given two Chicago SHRM memberships

5)  Program Involvement as described on the attachment:

a)  A DePaul representative will be able to our educational attend meetings and networking events

b)  DePaul supplied materials will be distributed at appropriate events held by Chicago SHRM

c)  A DePaul representative will be given podium time as appropriate

d)  An Exhibitor table will be provided at events

e)  DePaul will facilitate a roundtable discussion during our September 26th Speed HR Event.

f)  DePaul will be given the attendee contact list for meetings

6)  DePaul Credit Hours

a)  DePaul will issue and advertise that 12 credit hours will be provided to Chicago SHRM members who sign up for SNL that hold a PHR or SPHR certified designation from SHRM.

Price quoted is guaranteed for 15 days from the date of this document. The sponsorship contained in this document will be secured in your company name upon receipt of payment.

Amount to be paid to Chicago SHRM by DePaul University: $10,000
