AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 77230, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN DORCHESTER COUNTY, SO AS TO ADD NINE PRECINCTS, AND TO REDESIGNATE THE MAP NUMBER ON WHICH THESE PRECINCTS MAY BE FOUND AND MAINTAINED BY THE OFFICE OF RESEARCH AND STATISTICS OF THE STATE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Dorchester County voting precincts revised

SECTION1.Section 77230 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 212 of 2008, is further amended to read:

“Section 77230.(A)In Dorchester County there are the following voting precincts:

(C)The polling places for the precincts provided in this section must be established by the Dorchester County Board of Elections and Registration.”

Time effective

SECTION2.This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
