ACONCURRENT RESOLUTION
TO HONOR BETTY JEAN WALKER FEINDEL OF YORK COUNTY FOR HERMANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE YORK COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY, TO CONGRATULATE HER ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT, AND TO WISH HER MUCH SUCCESS AND FULFILLMENT IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, the South Carolina General Assembly has learned that Betty Jean Walker Feindel of York Countywill begin a welldeserved retirement after many years of faithful and outstanding service to the York County Republican Party; and
Whereas, with her usual energy, warmth, and enthusiasm, Betty Jean has served as York County Republican Party secretary for at least twenty years, in addition to her service as precinct president, county delegate, and state delegate; and
Whereas, her dedication and service havegreatly enhanced the presence of the Republican Party in York County; and
Whereas, in appreciation for her distinguished service, the York County Republican Party will present Betty Jean Walker Feindel its Lifetime Achievement Award at the party’s convention on April 13, 2013; and
Whereas, taking great pleasure in recognizing Betty Jean’smany years of service to the York County Republican Party, the members of the General Assemblywish her well as she enters retirement and trust she will find much enjoyment in the more leisurely pace of the days ahead. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
Thatthe members of the South Carolina General Assembly, by this resolution, honor Betty Jean Walker Feindel of York County for hermany years of dedicated service to the York County Republican Party, congratulate her on the occasion of herretirement, and wish her much success and fulfillment in all her future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be provided toBetty Jean Walker Feindel.
