Approaching the home turn Kimmyross checked off the heels of Buckle Up Angus.

Entering the home straight Rulla Revenge checked off the heels of Canuck. Canuck raced wide in the home straight. Tad Cold underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have muscle soreness in its back. Tad Cold has been stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.

Approaching the home turn Queen Solitude checked off the heels of Buckle Up Barney. On the home turn Stella Act checked off the heels of Murrayfield. Entering the home straight Rulla Ronaldo, Stella Act and Murrayfield bumped. Don’t Pinch underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have minor lacerations to its hind legs although no stand down period was issued. A post race swab sample was taken from Stella Act, the winner of the event.

In the home straight Oscar Ralph and Trust Fund bumped. Approaching the winning post Buckle Up Wes and Pedro’s Runaway bumped. At the same time Oscar Ralph and Trust Fund. Trust Fund underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness in the left metacarpal area. Trust Fund has been stood down from racing for a period of 5 days. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mrs D Cannan in relation to Trust Fund’s racing manners around the first turn. Acting on their own observations, viewing the official patrol films and taking evidence from Mrs Cannan, Stewards accepted the injury to Trust Fund and took no further action other than to place a warning on the racing manners of this greyhound.

Kreuzer Gibbs completed a stewards satisfactory trial as it had not started in an event for a period in excess of 6 months pursuant to LR31.3.
