Approaching the first turn Waratah Boy, Hellyeah Razor and Mar Mac bumped, checking Mar Mac. At the same time Cream Cheese checked off the heels of Captain Bling, checking Mar Mac. On the first turn Hellyeah Tangles and Captain Bling bumped. Approaching the home turn Cream Cheese and Hellyeah Razor bumped. In the home straight Captain Bling and Waratah Boy bumped, checking Captain Bling.

Approaching the first turn Take Up Crash, Son Of Solo, Blinking Becky and Lashing Juanne bumped, checking Take Up Crash, Son Of Solo and Blinking Becky. On the home turn Blinking Becky and Lashing Juanne bumped, soon after Lashing Juanne and Royal Surge bumped. Amazing Milne, Royal Surge, Lil’ Dove and Take Up Crash raced wide in the home straight. Amazing Milne underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a broken dew claw on its left front leg. Amazing Milne has been stood down from racing for a period of 4 days.

On the first turn Camdale Buddy and Adam’s Beccy bumped, soon after Camdale Buddy and Camdale Libby bumped, checking Camdale Libby. In the back straight Camdale Libby and Adam’s Beccy bumped, checking Adam’s Beccy. On the third turn Superboy eased. Approaching the home turn Greysynd Merry and Boz The Tigga bumped, checking Boz The Tigga. On the home turn Camdale Buddy and Greysynd Merry bumped. Entering the home straight Boz The Tigga checked off the heels of Adam’s Beccy and as a result Boz The Tigga and Josh Pines bumped. In the home straight Sandy Pines and Greysynd Merry bumped, checking Sandy Pines. Camdale Buddy and Superboy raced wide in the home straight. Superboy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have muscle soreness in its left hind leg. Superboy has been stood down from racing for a period of 3 days. Stewards spoke to trainer representative Mr M Sutcliffe in relation to Superboy’s racing manners around the third turn. Acting on their own observations viewing the official replays and taking evidence from Mr Sutcliffe stewards were of the opinion that Superboy had eased and by doing so had failed to pursue the lure with due commitment throughout the event pursuant to GAR 69(1)(b). Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(2)(a) Superboy has been stood down from racing for a period of 28 days, Hobart only, and until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

Acting on their own observations, viewing the official replays and taking evidence from Mr Fahey stewards were of the opinion that Great Taylors had turned its head outwards but failed to make head or muzzle contact with Queen Of Speed to its outside but by doing so had failed to pursue the lure with due commitment throughout the event pursuant to GAR 69(1)(b). Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(2)(a) Great Taylors has been stood down from racing for a period of 28 days, Hobart only, and until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

Marty Pines was slow out. Volcano and Zultan went up with the lids and as a result were slow out. Soon after the start Mogambo’s Girl and No Emotion bumped, checking No Emotion. On the first turn Mogambo’s Girl checked off the heels of Charismatic. On the home turn No Emotion checked off the heels of Mogambo’s Girl. At the same time Marty Pines and Zultan bumped. Entering the home straight Marty Pines checked off the heels of Zultan.

GENERAL

Tazzina completed a stewards satisfactory trial as it was stood down from the Hobart Greyhound Racing Club meeting on the 6th June 2013 for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment throughout the event pursuant to GAR 69(1)(b). Weighing 33.8 kilos and beginning from box 5, Tazzina complete the 461 metre trial distance in a time of 27.39. Tazzina has not been cleared to race as it did not perform to the satisfaction of stewards as it eased in the home straight and it also did not run the required qualifying time.
