To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (S.1094) to request that the Department of Transportation name the portion of State Road S14187 in Clarendon County from its intersection with Barrineau Road to New Town Road, etc., respectfully

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
TO REQUEST THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NAME THE PORTION OF STATE ROAD S14187 IN CLARENDON COUNTY FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH BARRINEAU ROAD TO NEW TOWN ROAD “SERGEANT WALTER KENNETH FLOYD MEMORIAL HIGHWAY” AND ERECT APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS ALONG THIS HIGHWAY THAT CONTAIN THE WORDS “SERGEANT WALTER KENNETH FLOYD MEMORIAL HIGHWAY”.
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly request that the Department of Transportation name the portion of State Road S14187 in Clarendon County from its intersection with Barrineau Road to New Town Road “Sergeant Walter Kenneth Floyd Memorial Highway” and erect appropriate markers or signs along this highway that contain the words “Sergeant Walter Kenneth Floyd Memorial Highway”.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
