What do you think are the strengths of your program of study?

  • The English teachers are excellent.
  • Flexible schedules
  • They enabled me to take a variety of classes that I expressed an interest in. These courses geared me in the right direction to my field of study in a four year university.

  • The strengths of the Associate In Arts college transfer program has simply allowed me to attain the first two years of a four year degree through a local facility.

  • I found the A.A. transfer program very flexible. I was able to take a variety of courses and as a result I feel more “well-rounded” as an individual. I found that several of my professors surpassed expectations such as, xxxx (math), xxxx (math), xxxx (psy), xxxx (chm), xxxx (phi), and xxxx (soc.). I believe that the professors make the school!

  • I felt like most of the teachers I have had at CFCC cared about their students and tried to prepare us for a 4 year college (the neutral on #11 & 8 are because I do not know what to expect from a 4 year college in comparison to CFCC.

  • CFCC has provided me with the best educational environment to allow me to effectively learn and analyze new and innovative approaches to dealing with groups, governments, organizations, and corporations in areas such as the global AIDS epidemic or the US trade deficit with the Peoples Republic of China (PRC). As a result, not only has Cape Fear provided me with the fundamentals required for an Associates degree, but perhaps more importantly has prepared me to continue my education at the University level.

  • I think that it is a good step towards a university. All colleges have some classes that a student might not prefer, but I had an overall good experience at Cape Fear.
