ScheduleFriday:

Competitor Arrival: Friday April 3, 2009.

4.00pm – at Nomads Black Belt/Referee Meeting, Black Belts must attend.

National’s small/brief opening ceremony

5.00pm – 10.00pm -Team Patterns & Pre-Arranged Sparring, 4th, 3rd & 2nd Dan

Patterns if time permits.

Saturday:

8:00am - Umpire Meeting Saturday Morning, Black Belts must attend.

9.00am – Opening Ceremony

The Unity Championshipsest. time 3hours depending upon available umpires

Umpiring for Black Belts is mandatory.

1:00pm (one hour after Unity Championship ends)– Nationals will begin

Sunday: – Competition will complete on Sunday.

EligibilityITF-USA or AA Active Members ONLY

All schoolswill abide by the regulations and tournament rules set by the

ITF-USA host or committees.

All National competitors will have an ITF BB Cert. # & Passport. (Bring Copy

of bothwith you)

Protective GearSafety Kicks, Punches, Headgear, Mouthpieces Mandatory

(Cups for males also required)Head gear for juniors is optional.

Chest protectors may not be worn.

Medals 1st, 2nd and (2) 3rd place medals are awarded in all individual competitions.

Entry FeesIndividuals $150.00 (Includes Sparring, Pattern, Power Breaking

(Plastic Boards) and Specialty Breaking (Wood Boards).

Pattern Teams $100.00, Pre-Arranged $50.00. Fee Includes:

T-Shirt is included with all reg.,

All competitors must help umpire the National & Unity Championships

*Optional** ATFI & ITF-USA must provide at least 20 qualified umpires each

for the National & Unity Championships and therefore National Competitors do

not have to umpire.

All registrations must be in by March 20th, 2009 “No Exceptions”

Spectator $5.00Kids $2.00 Under 6 Years old Free Admission

UmpiresWhite shirt, a solid one color dark blue tie, and dark blue pants or ITF Dobok

Umpires who work all day will be have free

Lunch provided. All masters & school owners will have lunch provided.

Competitors who do not make there weight can either fight up a category or not compete!!

ITF Rules for Junior Competitors: For juniors to compete in the 2009 World Championships they must be born between 1991 & 1995. Those born in 1991 may choose to either compete in Junior or Senior Divisions (not both). This notice is per ITF web site under 2009 World Championships.

All proceeds after expenses will be put to a Travel Fund and will be divided equally between Team, Individual Competitors, Umpire’s & Coaches or as the White Tiger School sees fit.The funds are for the trip to the World Championships in Argentina. The funds will be held until needed for trip, by the West Hartford School of Tae Kwon-Do (White Tiger).
