AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 77530, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN YORK COUNTY, SO AS TO ADD AND REVISE CERTAIN VOTING PRECINCTS IN YORK COUNTY AND REDESIGNATE A MAP NUMBER FOR THE MAP ON WHICH LINES OF THESE PRECINCTS ARE DELINEATED AND MAINTAINED BY THE OFFICE OF RESEARCH AND STATISTICS OF THE STATE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Voting precincts added and revised in York County
SECTION1.Section 77530(A) and (B) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 36 of 1999, are further amended to read:
“(A)In York County there are the following voting precincts:
Allison Creek Church;
Anderson Road;
Bethany;
Bethel No. 1;
Bethel No. 2;
Bethel School;
Bowling Green;
Bullocks Creek;
Cannon Mill;
Catawba;
Clover No. 1;
Clover No. 2;

Doby’s Bridge;

(B)The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on the official map on file with the Office of Research and Statistics of the State Budget and Control Board designated as document P9104 and as shown on certified copies provided to the State Election Commission and the Registration and Elections Commission for York County by the Office of Research and Statistics.”
Time effective
SECTION2.This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 24th day of March, 2004.
