BABIES! Babies! BABIES! The Cinderella Scholarship Pageant will be holding state competition for babies in conjunction with the Nevada State Cinderella Girl Scholarship Pageant!

Following are the age categories and divisions:

CINDERELLA INFANT (0-11 months)

CINDERELLA BABY (12-23 months)

CINDERELLA TINY TOT (24-35 months)

YOUNG PRINCE CHARMING* (0-35 months) (*Boys will be combined if 2 or less per group)

PRINCE CHARMING* (3-6 years) (*Boys will be combined if 2 or less per group)

RULES & REGULATIONS
  1. The age the participant is on the day of the local pageant in which the baby qualified for state during this pageant year will determine the age division the participant will compete in at the Nevada State Baby Pageant. Note: Pageant year begins on Sept 1st each year and ends on Aug 31st. Note: Any baby can enter state without having done a preliminary but they would enter at the age they are as of June 12th, 2010.
  2. A parent or guardian must accompany the participant on stage and will be solely responsible for their conduct and safety.
  3. The person accompanying the participant on stage will introduce the child at the microphone giving the child’s name, hometown, and one sentence of “something cute about them”.
  4. The parent is NOT JUDGED, however remember good grooming is important.
  5. The Order of appearance will be by Division – Infants, Babies, Tiny Tots, and Prince Charmings
  6. Children in the “Cinderella Infant” age category are to be carried by the chaperone onstage. All other baby participants must hold the hand of the accompanying adult at all times or be carried (except for the older boys 3-6 years). All age categories will follow the Cinderella modeling pattern and will be judged in Casualwear and Partywear modeling, as well as the PlayTime Close Up Appraisal prior to Casualwear.
  7. Following the competition in Partywear, there will be an intermission while the judges determine their choices in each age division. Immediately thereafter, the judges will announce their winners and awards will be given.
  8. *Awards: Overall Winner in each baby division – Crown or Medallion, banner, trophy, and a $500.00 SAVINGS BOND Award!* Best Personality in each division – Crown or Medallion, banner, trophy, and a $200.00 Savings Bond. * Most Beautiful or Most Handsome in each division – Crown or Medallion, banner, trophy, and a $200.00 Savings Bond. *Most Photogenic in each division - Crown or Medallion, banner, Trophy, and $100.00 Savings Bond. ***See #14 note – Awards are based on the number of entries in each particular age division.
  9. One (1) Overall Nevada State Cover Baby will be selected from the additional Program Book Advertising Pages and will receive a Crown or Medallion, Trophy, Banner, and $50.00 Savings Bond
  10. One (1) Overall Community Support Winner will be selected from the baby selling the most Program Book Advertising Pages & will receive a Crown or Medallion, Trophy, Banner, and $50 Savings Bond.
  11. NOTE: Any baby throughout the State of Nevada MAY ENTER the Nevada State Baby Pageant. They do not have had to participate in a Baby Preliminary, however if they have not entered a preliminary this pageant year, then they would enter in the age group that they are on the date of the pageant June 12th, 2010.
  12. SPECIAL NOTE: Any baby throughout the State of Nevada may enter photogenic only and/or Cover Baby only without being present at the Nevada State Baby Pageant.
  13. The Final Deadline for entries, forms and photos for “Nevada Cinderella Baby and Prince Charming Baby Pageant” is May 15, 2010. After that a $25.00 LATE FEE WILL BE ADDED TO THE ENTRY COST.AND YOUR BABY WILL NOT APPEAR IN THE PROGRAM AS IT WILL ALREADY BE AT THE PRINTERS.
  14. ***NOTE: ALL awards and Savings Bonds are based on the following entries in each age division: 14 or more entrants in a division – Overall $500.00 Savings Bond Award, Best Personality $100.00 Savings Bond, Most Beautiful or Most Handsome $100.00 Savings Bond, Most Photogenic $75.00 Savings Bond. 9-13 entrants in a division – Overall $200.00 Savings Bond Award, Best Personality $75.00 Savings Bond, Most Beautiful or Most Handsome $75.00 savings bond, Most Photogenic $50.00 savings bond. 6-8 entrants per division - Overall $100.00 Savings Bond Award, Best Personality $50.00 Savings Bond, Most Beautiful or Most Handsome $50.00 Savings Bond and Most Photogenic $25.00 Savings Bond. 3-5 entrants in an age division – Overall $50.00 Savings Bond Award, Best Personality $25.00 Savings Bond, Most Beautiful or Most Handsome $25.00 Savings Bond, Most Photogenic $25.00 Savings Bond.
  15. The $100.00 Deposit, Application and Picture must be received by May 15, 2010 in order for your place to be reserved at the “Nevada State Baby of the Year” competition. Then you may pay the balance at Registration (Certified funds or CASH only – no personal checks will be accepted at the pageant – No exceptions)You may also pay with PAYPAL at our Cinderella website:
  16. It is suggested that props, hats, bracelets, & gloves not be used as babies have a tendency to play with these articles and lose valuable eye contact with the judges. Also hats tend to shade the baby’s face. For ideas on what to wear – check out the Baby State Pictures from 2009 on our Cinderella Girl website:
  17. There is a $10.00 admission fee at the door (parents fees are included in their entry fees) so bring all your relatives and friends to watch the fun! Note: one admission ticket will be included for the chaperone of each baby participant. Kids 9 and under are admitted free of charge. All others must have an admission ticket to come and watch.
  18. We’ll have an official photographer and videographer there and you can purchase their packages, but you may also take all the photographs and videos you’d like.
  19. The photograph you turn in for Photogenic judging should be no larger than 4” x 6” and will be returned to you at the conclusion of the competition.
  20. This is not a clothing contest. Dresses or Outfits should be unaffected and not have beads and sequins as these tend to take away from the baby’s face.
  21. Playtime will be by age Division and each child is asked to bring along a favorite toy of their own to share & take back home. I will have a simple gift for each one during this time.
  22. During the Casualwear and Partywear/Formalwear modeling, each baby will have the same amount of timed music to display their beautiful faces.

As the parents (legal guardian) of the participant named above at the Nevada State Cinderella & Prince Charming Baby Pageant, I do hereby agree to abide by the rules and regulations, directives and provisions for winners & contestants as set forth in the rules & regulations, and by Nevada State Cinderella Girl who sponsors this Baby Pageant. I agree to hold IPPI, and/or Cinderella Scholarship Pageant its directors & staff members harmless of any damages or liabilities due to theft, accident or injury during or resulting from my child’s participation in the Nevada State Cinderella Girl & Prince Charming Baby Pageant. I also accept the full responsibility for the regulation of hours and personal activities of the participant. I understand and agree that should an act of God (earthquake, fire, or any other natural disaster) cause the cancellation of the pageant, that said pageant will be cancelled without benefit of any refund; however the pageant will be rescheduled at another time & location. Prices for additional advertising are listed below. For each ad, duplicate this form & attach to ad copy & artwork. Advertisers may submit their own ad copy, artwork, etc. Ads submitted without artwork or layout will be set up at the directors discretion. Most advertisers will have a business card, letterhead, sales slip or an ad which has appeared in another program book or the Yellow Pages which can be reproduced…making their advertisement outstanding in the program book.
