Welcome to the 2006 Central Zone Tournament hosted by North Country Region. We are thrilled to be carrying on the long standing tradition of the Central Zone Tourney and extremely proud to be the only zone within USA Volleyball that hosts a championship for their members.

ENTRY FORM

The entry form must be completely filled in with all requested information. Send the complete roster and full entry fee to your own Region Commissioner or office. Each region will verify the information provided and forward entries to North Country Region. All entries are due to North Country Region by April 10, 2006.

REFUNDS

If a team drops out before deadline, a full refund will be given. If a team drops out after the deadline, no refund will be given unless another team is found as a replacement.

UNIFORMS

The uniform rules will be enforced as written in the 2006 USAV Rule Book. Shorts will need to be similar, not exact. The Rule of Two will apply. This will allow teams to pick up two players from another team in their Region that is not participating in this event.

OFFICIALS

One Certified Referee will be provided for each non-final match. Each team will be required to provide a second referee, scorekeeper, visible score keeper, libero tracker, and two line judges. Teams must attend a USAV certified officiating clinic before attending the Zonal Tournament.

TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN

A representative from each team must check in at the tournament desk prior to the beginning of play on Saturday. Playing schedules will be emailed to the teams as soon as they are available. All playing schedules will be posted on the NCR website at www.ncrusav.org.

AWARDS

Individual awards will be presented for the top finishers in all divisions. Team awards to champions and runner-ups in all divisions. Additional awards will be presented based on the number of entries in each division.

TRAINER

A trainer will be available for taping and first aid but supplies will not be furnished. You must provide your own supplies or you will be charged for the supplies you use.

PROTESTS

The Head Referee will chair the protest committee. Protests will be handled immediately. The chair will appoint two other individuals from other officials, site directors, commissioners and/or zonal representatives to assist in the protest.
