Tournament Headquarters: Ellensburg High School will be tournament headquarters.
Rules of Play: 2002-2003 High School Rules will be played.
Time of Quarters: (6) minutes for 4th grade, (7) minutes for all other grades. Women’s size basketball will be used for all divisions except boys 7th and 8th grade. There are no tournament game balls. “Best Ball” available will be used.
Special Rules: The Old Bench Rule will continue. Coaches must sit on the bench during the game except to applaud good play, call time out, or to get a sub into the game. No pressing (full or half) after your team is ahead by 15 or more points. TECHNCAL FOULS: 2 points awarded and ball out of bound. FIRST TECHNICAL on the coach and he/she is ejected from the gym. TWO TECHNICAL FOULS on a player and the player is ejected. Technical fouls count as personal fouls.
Scorekeeper: Each team is to have one person to keep the individual score sheet at the scorer’s table. One coach and one scorekeeper form each team will be admitted free.
Results: Results will be posted at the Ellensburg High School.
Admission: Admission is one price for all day. Saturday and Sunday admission is adults $3.00 and students $2.00. Children under 5 will be admitted free. Proceeds support Ellensburg Youth Activities.
Awards: Team plaques for first and second place. Also up to ten individual trophies for first and second place teams.
All-Star Team: All-Star teams will be selected by tournament officials. Awards will be given out at the end of the tournament or during your last game.
